      little overkill poss on my counters but will save a token til the end in case I can dial them back a little in the actual raid.

    Curious question, do you find you get better results with the Gale IV than that of the MDS III for the UAV's? Perhaps you could simply use all MDS III on one ship to free up the rest for full damage?

      Yes, for this set of targets (based of the VXP target) Gale'a are approx 3-4 times better at killing the UAV forn both the Ironhide hull and the turrets. I did try MDSIII only and also some sprints, they were both poor at the task.

      @@TSM-TSM Have you thought of perhaps going with 4 gale IV and 2 MDS III on just one ship so that the rest can be geared completely towards damage? I remember you mentioning that you didn't want one to outrange the other, but what happens when that is the case?

      @@JustAnotherPlayr if the MDS3 gets to target a UAV you get just the on shot at it. If the Gales at greater range get to target it first then you get the gale benefit of firing more than once to take down the UAV. So you the idea of the shorter range MDS3 is to not have them muck up the performance of the GAles vs the UAV but still be in the fleet with some CM enhancement to take down or at least try to take down missiles.

      @@danielbaker781 Just because the MDS III fire at it first shouldn't affect the Gale IV's from firing with their lower range. In fact, with the MDS's firing at them first, perhaps they get 'softened up' for the Gales to finish them off? I've had many ships that had double countermeasure ranges that worked very well. Are you saying that once the one countermeasure fires, the other no longer will?

      @@JustAnotherPlayr it all has to due with the mechanics of how the 2 different counter measures work in the game. Both @DerpyTheCow47 and @TSM Plays can chime in here as well. If MDS3 engages the UAV first it takes the one shot at it and that is it. Counters it (Great) or misses ( Not so great) if it misses, that Incoming UAV will not be targeted again by any other CM. The Gales are more effective vs the UAV's in that they will continue to fire at the incoming UAV multiple times if need be to try to kill it. Just like it does vs mortars. Its mechanic is different. So the idea here is that the UAV's are the bigger threat compared to missiles, and you dont want a less effective CM engaging them and decreasing the effectiveness of the more effective anti UAV CM. I'm pretty sure they did testing of it on the show as well showing just that.

      You can research the Countermeasures Equipment 2 ?? I looked but can't find where to do that...help lol ;)
