I bought these blindly without really noticing it was pre seasoned and tried seasoning it myself, will i die now?
Will these be available in the EU? Maybe your chopping board as well? Ordering in the UK is getting quite expensive due to customs and shipping.
I’ve been waiting for availability in the US since these were announced. I’d love to support your channel by purchasing one but it’s still not available!
Any word on US availability????
I checked with everyone I could check with when the wok was first announced and the only answer I could get was coming soon. I think that was a year ago?!
Do these work on induction hobs? Gas cookers are being phased out in the UK and this will be the case for the EU before long too.
Answers.. check out 2:22
I’d move out of my country if they denied me fire to cook with.
WHERE CAN I GET ONE?
Do I have to season it with oil before 1st use? I just bought it but I am bit confused
If these videos were less sales-oriented and more informative, it would be of great help. As far as I understand, the wok is pre-BURNED, not pre-SEASONED. So you simply season it with oil as usual, without the hassle of first having to scorch it on a flame or (even worse) on an induction top.
They are pre-seasoned, not just pre-burned
As a wok newbie, got one of these, followed the instructions in this video to clean for use. Then before my first use I heated it up, then added veg oil before cooking but everything stuck to it. What did I do wrong?
The wok might not have been hot enough! If it's too cool then the ingredients will stick to the pan - Chris
OK, I bought the wok... And I used it twice. And now it's wobbly.
I see below that my recent comment about non-communication shook some life into School of Wok. Now all they have to do is make a better product.
EU delivery plz 😉
Only a shit company completely neglects a comment section of 10 comments, all asking questions about the product. But apparently they make good woks.
get a steel wok people.
I tried to have the cast iron wok delivered to australia but the corporate structure of the company is too big to allow any individual help, I also asked what make the cast iron wok was so that I could source one in my region but this was considered a corporate secret, the responder should go into politics as she was very adept at explaining why she could do nothing at all, positively negative, I guess sending boxes to various places is a huge strain on logistical systems, seems un-business like to have a youtube channel with great global reach yet have a parochial retailing attitude, there are quite a few companies doing very well indeed in the seemingly ever expanding global kitchenware game, the person who responded to me should not be in charge of business expansion but would do well heading the complaints department, lol.
no oil burning? I thought we should burn oil to make it non stick
obviously this channel doesn’t give a sh.t about comments
