    I didn’t think you’d quit. It’s all close to home now. Lot closer for Brian to meet you. It’s all good😎

    Hi Jenny!
    Soooo glad to see you back. You had me worried that I would never see you again!! I must say- you are a hiking beast and I mean that in the best way ❤️. I’m a 74 yr old grandma and I love watching your journey. Take care and be safe out there.

    Hi Jenny! I have to say I was a little concerned you would go home and decide to finish at a later date....glad you're back! You're coming into the final stretch! Hang in there and I look forward to your last part of the journey! Zman

    Have enjoyed all of your vids and AT adventure. I imagine based on real time vs RUclips-time posts that you must be a good 200-300 miles further along by today, July 8th. Have you ever watched RUclipsr-NH woman Rachel Whelton? This is my first year to ever watch AT hikers, and via those people I came across the hiking and camping by her. My guess is you have hit most of the marks she has done in NH. Stay well, as many of us cheer you on each day that you are out there. In my experience with horseflies, they take chunks, Blackflies bites are fierce and the red bump and itch last for weeks, and mosquitos, ugh. Annoying little *&%!! Leeches.. I slapped one off my foot with such brute force I bruised my foot. LOL Didn't want to touch it. Speaking as a former hiker at age 73. lol

    NY and CT have started putting outhouses at trailhead parking because people were leaving toilet paper flowers all over the place around the perimeter of the parking lots. They are not for camping.

    I’d love a live question video like you had way back when. Or, a follow up evaluations of your thru hike. Wondering about your solo hiking & things you were surprised about (good & bad).

    Nice to see you back on trail! Do you recall if the water source at Riga shelter was decent? Planning on doing a section around there.

    What a nice surprise! I was expecting a week of no videos so you could continue the 3 week posting delay.

      3 weeks was way too long of a delay for me!

    Your airborne tormentors are most likely deer flies, not horse flies. They are surely the worst.

    • @HikingwithJenny
      @HikingwithJenny  Месяц назад

      @@craig67 I understand they are from the same family. Not sure how to tell the difference.

      Deer flies have a yellowish color, kind of shaped like a triangle when not flying. They often attack in swarms. Horse flies are black and rounded in shape. Trek on!

      @@craig67 thanks! Yes, these are deer flies then. Or possibly both! I’ve seen a couple types that are biting.
