maaaan every time i see a new one of your videos i remember all the cool toy guns youve made. you seriously have "IT" man! i sincerely want one of your creations
Bit overkill on the firing pin spring, but it will fire… Once… Then, you gotta worry about a potential case rupture shooting back at ya. But it may not… One way to find out
Nice and now with a good grip (you aren't shoving that in your pocket, so a full length pistol grip is IMHO a must), plz :D (and of course magazine fed!) :D
After all of the extra steps taken and attention to detail, I am surprised you decided to connect the grips with adhesive rather than screws, as a gunsmith it feels a little sacreligious. Thats literally the only nitpick I can find, this whole video is incredibly impressive.
would this kind of setup, the metal spring, or whatever, would lose its strength after a while? from the way the metal is compressed, those two points would eventually become structurally compromised, as the strength isn't uniformly distributed, as opposed to the way a spring is being compressed inside of a watch. When hard metal bends repeatedly it becomes softer and softer.
There are some things best done the old ways that 3D printers can’t do as well and the traditional methods are more rewarding because you can say you completely made it by hand without taking the 3D printer short cut, craftsmanship still has more meaning than easy quick builds but that’s just me
@@dragonslyer74 as I always say “whatever works” I don’t want to be snooty or picky if I came off that way, I just like seeing people do things the old way as well as the new because there’s just a special feeling about the traditional way to me
cool, but it is possible for the bearing to go off track before full departure and go toward the shooter. unless im over looking something that has my thinking incorrect
This is cool. I get great joy from target practice with any gun or gagit that shoots. Unfortunately, here in CA, they cover everything by making it illegal to launch any kind of projectile no maker what it is so I could technically be in trouble if I made and fired this type of gun. Even a blow gun is illegal !!!!
oh for sure, coping saws are pretty cool and useful for smaller projects that require fine detail. there is definitely an art to it. easy to learn hard to master.

What an interesting toy, unfortunately I don't have the tools to make it.
put rifling in the barrel and ever so slightly extend it so the magnet speeds up better
I might actually build that homemade "gun" myself, that's how much I like and think that this is interesting.
