In this latest episode, we're honored to welcome back the profound theologian, Baxter Kruger. This episode is packed with spiritual insights and revolutionary thoughts that will challenge your perception of faith and the divine. Here are three powerful quotes from Baxter that will resonate deeply with you:
    1. "The gospel is not the news that we can receive Jesus into our lives. The gospel is the news that Jesus Christ, the creator and sustainer of all things, has received you into his life."
    2. "Jesus is in us sharing what he's doing with his Father. That's why you get up, make your wife a cup of coffee in the morning, take a phone call at two thirty in the morning, help somebody fix their tire. That's why you love gardening, music. All that begins with the Father, Son, and Spirit, and they're sharing it with us."
    3. "When Jesus calms the seas, the fruit of that calming is that you now notice others. And now you can see their pain or their joy and you can participate, you can respond."
Join us as Baxter Kruger dives deep into his personal spiritual journey, the powerful impact of understanding our true relationship with God, and how to find genuine joy and purpose in everyday actions. Thank you so much for this. I sometimes feel as if I am an outcast because Jesus has been showing me this for over 10 years and I was kicked out of the church as a heretic as I spoke about this, now I live in the south and am told that I am a heretic by most people I try to talk to . It’s good to see other people who have a true understanding of the Father it gives me comfort.

You've been blessed with the knowledge at a time when not many are. Orthodoxy desires to condemn you to hell. It is fundamentally evil fruit. Ironically the same fruit as first century Jerusalem, binding heavy yokes and barring people from entering into God's rest. Once I understood Orthodoxy lacks grace, and I can't dwell amongst Orthodoxy, it brought me peace. I wish for fellowship, but it's nowhere to be found in these parts unless I pretend to be like them.

Oh my gosh! I didn't realize it was God speaking to me all those years, I thought it was me & I resisted it, but I had what I call, 'haunting verses' that always came up to me, to challenge what I was hearing at church...& They ALWAYS made me feel like I wasn't understanding something I should understand! Like there was more!
Then one day, talking about these things to Jesus, He said I wasn't hearing the real gospel....woa. life has been continuously changing since then 🩷☺️

THis is indeed such a lightening rod for our faith. I do have a question: How should we present the Gospel? I use Romans road prayer of Salvation, but I feel like there is a better way in light of what the Early Church taught. Can you enlighten me here?

    • @GilHodgesPodcast

@@jasonbell9975 For me it is very easy. But this is not perhaps for everyone. I consider myself a bit of a mystic. My engagement time with God is super super special. I've learned to do it with groups and it has been a very life-changing experience for many of them. I just take people into encounter their creator. Once they encounter the one who is love he gets to take it from there. We do have to at times dismantle some baggage. A lot of people who do not claim to be Christians still carry a lot of the Christian baggage. You can ask an atheist or a non-believer about hell and most of them can give you the Christian version of an eternal hell torment. That has to be dismantled because if they believe that our God our Father of love could do such a thing it's going to make it challenging for them to enter into a peaceful restful relationship with him.

I'm not talking about the ones who repent, I'm talking about the ones who don't repent and continue to live that way, who choose evil as their way of life?
Even Jesus made a distinction when he told the pharisees they were from their father the devil.
So, if what you say is true, why did Jesus die? The Bible clearly states to redeem us.

The history of the scriptures or manuscripts, whether Greek, Hebrew, etc, is well known and available to any who want to find it. If properly translated, what is the Bible today it would be very different relating to certain characters and places. This is man's work, either by reason or deception. But God allowed this because man must be tested. This is why the true definition of faith is lost to many. Attempts to corrupt the Bible would only achieve limited results. Isaiah is Isaiah because it was written with a tactful purpose. The main messages of the scriptures are to point to an example to follow to achieve a higher state after death, which is temporary. A way to live by choice. Then, to find who can explain the teachings and true path by truth, not by man's interpretations or desires. Everything presented here is man's thinking. Man, cannot know God without knowing who God is, why he does what he does, why he does it the way he does. Also, who we are. Where we came from. Why we are here. Why do we have to experience what we do. What is the end result. Jesus gives the answers. None of you truly know God because you never found the correct path.
