@@TonyRedgrave1501 there was a lot of Italian immigration to Australia in the 1960’s. no doubt Benét senior travelled over to start a new life in the greatest country in the world 🇦🇺
The italian there might have been a bit rough, but the cultural spirit of italy - being angrily called to lunch - is channeled flawlessly!
Konichiwa, Donny! I can't stop jamming to the new single. If you ever make your way over the pond to Toronto to perform, there's a delicious steak dinner in it for you. Or maybe you don't like steak? No problem! Make it a succulent chicken breast with a side of mixed veg and your choice of pie or ice cream for dessert. How's that sound?
If that's not enough to entice you to come here, then it's probably never going to happen.

@Count Floyd I totally missed Donny's reply, but the funny thing is he came to Toronto and performed where I work, and I got to pick him up from the train station and drive him around a bit before seeing him perform a couple of times. I feel pretty bad that I forgot I owed him a steak dinner and never came through.
@Count Floyd Nah, I work at a place called RX Music where he performed in the afternoon before the Drake and did an interview with Master T. Donny was coming in right from Montreal on the train and the only way he had time to come by our place first was if we grabbed him right from Union, and my co-worker who set it all up knew I was a fan and asked if I wanted to drive him down to pick up Donny. I thought we had a video somewhere but I could only find these pics.

After his performance I ended up dropping him at his hotel and then over at The Drake for soundcheck before coming back later to watch him perform again. It was awesome getting to talk music with him while we were stuck in traffic for a couple hours. :D
And you're right about the beef. I doubt I'd be able to find him a better steak in Toronto than he could get back home.
