    I first heard of this back around 1972. Since then, I have listened to those who have had encounters. These creatures are real. We need to respect them.

    I just finished watching boggy creek for the first time and upon opening RUclips and typing in "The Legend of Boggy Creek", this was the first video to pop up. I am a few mins in and I already fully enjoy what I have seen so far. I have been going down the bigfoot rabbit hole for about 5 months now after kicking it off by re watching all of the survivorman bigfoot series as well as his directors commentary on some of his bigfoot episodes and it is fascinating hearing Les Stroud talk about the behind the scenes information on his bigfoot series. I'm all in on bigfoot right now lol.

    Thank you, I really enjoyed this. I'm in the UK and saw "The Legend of Boggy Creek" on TV in the early 80s when I was a young teen. I remember the profound effect it had on me at the time. My interest was rekindled in the last year when I discovered so many RUclips channels dedicated to bigfoot.

    Kinda late to the party, here. Saw the legend of boggy creek on television back in 78. I was around 11 years old and alone at home that night. Scared the living crap out of me, but after that, I was hooked on Bigfoot.
    Fast forward. Live in Virginia now and my wife and I love taking road trips across the country to California (where I'm from). Always take the old route systems there and I 40 back. Have gotten all my nephews and nieces interested in squatches and we plan to have a sasquatch road trip. Fouke is on the list of places to visit. Can hardly wait to meet the fine people there, and maybe have the opportunity to listen to some firsthand accounts

    Love the movie! We just found a 13 inch track down there close to boggy creek a few weeks ago. Our woods walker coffee is now at monster mart for sale!

    A million years ago I saw the movie as a young boy. For weeks afterwards I would think of the Bigfoot running his arm through the window and missed A lot of sleep because of it.👀👈

    I met the Pierces back in the mid 1970s. The little boy, Chucky, the kids and their mom. You can see them in the Boggy Creek movie when they are out walking and see the monster and take off running.

    I have visited Fouke twice over the past 7 years. I live in Morehouse Parish two and a half hours away. I’ve had a quite a few people over this way relate to me things they have seen or heard in this vast woodland region that are very similar to be believed or disbelieved or something in between.

    My grandpa lived on boggy creek in the 1920's and seen it. The horses and cows were going crazy and my great grandpa sent my grandpa out to see what was going on, he jumped on a horse and said what he saw was tall enough that his head was in the branches and my great grandma told me that when he got back in the house he was white as a sheet. So interesting, I did lots of book reports thru school on big foot and boggy creek.

    FWIW: The snakes are _venomous,_ not _poisonous._
    I got corrected by a ranger at nearby Dismal Swamp State Park {in northeastern North Carolina} a few years ago when I use the word _poisonous_ myself.
    And I used to have a pet boa constrictor...😊

      Have you ever heard any Bigfoot stories in and around the Dismal State Park? Lyle includes some about Dismal and David Weatherly mentions in his book on NC that he seen one in there.

    Bro...we have our own Boggy Creek Monster in NH. It would be good if u did research up here.. in the White Mountains.

    • @AleksPetakov
      @AleksPetakov  4 года назад +1

      Well I think "it would be good" if you watched my video "Shyman of the White Mountains"...Also these are documentaries not research videos. Besides a majority of (reported) Bigfoot sightings in NH aren't from the White Mountains...

    • @waynefaust9607
      @waynefaust9607 4 года назад

      @@AleksPetakov Yes ...Bro..I did watch.."Shy Man Of The Mountains" and enjoyed it. But more Sasquatch research needs to be done in New Hampshire...because it has the perfect environment for these beings...especialy in the White Mountain National Forest region. Supposedly.. area's with heavy annual rainfall...have a high degree of sightings...and New Hampshire... surely fits that bill!!

    • @waynefaust9607
      @waynefaust9607 4 года назад

      @@AleksPetakov Before...u make the case of the low amount of reported BF sightings.. in the White Mountain National Forest. Why not look at the very low population of ppl...who live nr there? Wouldn't that answer... why there wouldn't be many sightings?

    Not a bad video, but my unit trains in the Everglades. Ribbon and garter snakes aren't 'scary creatures'! LOL. And for that matter gators get routine when you're knee deep in swamp carrying 50 lbs and a rifle. LOL

  • @toddaulner5393
    @toddaulner5393 Год назад +1

    Why the hell do people watch gators? To me it would be like watching robins where I live.

    70 yards ??Going through the gate that’s a long ways to look to your left or right wherever the creek is to see something come up out of the creek.Specially if you’re focused on shutting the gate letting the truck through getting back into the truck it’s not like it’s 30 feet away or 20 feet away it’s almost a whole football field away. Really?
