Well, they might seem pointless to some now, but they're very valuable cultural artifacts. I love it when I find a RUclips upload of an old show that has commercials from past decades. Great way to see how culture changes, plus if I know any of them, they have great nostalgia value.

One American friend asked her when she told him about the Kray Twins can you trust them if they're gangsters? She replied " they're friends" It's worth a look if you're interested
