Wow, thanks for sharing, I started school in Featherston in 1963, dad was stationmaster, grandad Frank Houten, used to drive the trains in Woodville. Now I see how he got lung cancer driving coal trains through the tunnels. Dad,Les Raikes worked on the Waiarapa line also, then he was Stationmaster Hunterville, then National Park, and finally Stationmaster Goods in Gisborne. I loved the railway life.

A very powerful engine. I do not know if this is still using its original engine which engine for EMD G12 locomotive types, or have changed the engine with a power output greater. That he has nearly the same speed with diesel electric locomotives series of 90s ..... But I love this video, scenery seen from the locomotive cab is such a beautiful and amazing.
