This really is something special. I’ll be honest when I say that I discovered this song from some silly meme on the internet as it played in the background. The melody coupled with the simple yet smooth effects caught my attention, and I could not stop searching for the original source. I finally found it, and the video (albeit not ‘professional grade’ -and I mean that as a serious compliment and NOT a negativity) the video is just as much an original creation as the music itself.. it’s hard to explain, but current mainstream music seems to miss that true, original and creative spark that Dream Ivory has. No new music has grabbed my attention like this for a long, long time. I listen to this band while I’m driving, and I catch myself taking the long way home all the time. For me, it sets the mental stage for me to remember times past, dream of the future, and to not worry so much about the present. Discovering this new music has been such a treat, thank you so much for creating it! And if any of the actual members read this, please keep up the good work!

i think of her when i listen to this. i think of the times we spent together, even the bad ones. she made me so happy, i loved her and she did too. but we stopped talking after some time, and i instigated an argument and was completely wrong. i should’ve talked to her. i should’ve communicated and maybe. just maybe… we’d still be together. hell, even stronger as a couple. no, i had to ruin everything. Everytime i hear this song i wanna brust into tears, this really reminds me of my ex which i loved more than anything. In 2020 i met this boy from my class he was really cute and i loved how respectful to others and i loved him a lot. My face turns red everytime he calls me by my name but after a year he really changed and thats when we dated it was 2021 but after a while he decided to break up with me i knew it was coming but it still hurted me. I really miss him more than anything its driving me crazy even tho he told me he hated me after we broke up i still cherished him and loved him more than anything and anyone. He is all i ever wanted i cant believe loving a boy affected my entire life
Me and my girl broke up recently. I just heard this today for the first time. This song pretty much encapsulates my headspace with frightening accuracy. We were together for almost 5 years. Everything I ever did during that time was in hopes of "our future" even though we fought on and off for the entire duration. It was never a perfect relationship but I've never loved someone so much in my entire life and it was the first time I ever felt truly loved in return by another person.
