Thank you for your pattern, it’s beautiful. I am unable to get the same yarn as yours, can I use paper raffia which is a ribbon style? Will it give the same result? Thanks
Hi! I just finished the 20th row of the bottom of the bag. If I wanted to add 3 more rows with 16,17, and 18 single crochets before I start the side. What would that make the side “magic numbers” be instead of 136 and 37? Want to make sure I calculate correctly!
I made this bag a second time, and it turned out alright. However, even when I starch and iron the raffia, it looks pretty soft and light, so it is not stiff. Any suggestions on how to make the mag stiff with the appropriate shape>?
I have a question that I hope you will answer. Because every round on the side all have 136 stitches in total, it looks like the bag should be a cylinder shape. But when you are done, it looks like the top round are bigger than the bottom round. How does this happen? Is it just natural?

Hi there are you thinking of doing a pattern for YSL icare in raffia?
Hi , I want to ask what is the measurements about the bag? Thank you
Question, with this particular yarn do you prep it before use in order to make it more pliable as it’s quite stiff to use? Thank you.
In this case i have used it as it was. A bit hard on the hands, i would say.
Fab tutorial but would love the links for the exact materials used. Thank you.
The link is in the description box for the raffia used.
Hello, is there a raffia that you would recommend that would ship to the United States?
I think this yarn from Hobbii is the exact yarn im using, they ship to the US. But i haven't bought it yet to try. Here's the link hobbii.de/paulina

Welcome, JoAnn! It's great to have you here as a new subscriber.
I am not sure what I did wrong, but my bag did not look as wide as yours. It looks much smaller with the pattern that I followed.
