You know it’s a good cooking video when it’s a sweet old lady with a thick southern accent
I make a pork shoulder in root beer and cut up rings of onions for underneath the meat. And add salt and pepper too. The root beer does not make the meat sweet at all. And after it's done in the crock pot, I shred the meat a little at a time so I can fix barbecues or eat the meat plan with mashed potatoes. Sometimes I add carrots too or even a few potatoes that have been quartered up. It's delicious and moist every time.

Here's the thing about crock pot Plastic Liners---they can be made of potentially toxic materials. So, they could be Leeched into your food. Otherwise.... delicious looking recipe.

@OldKetoLady I agree those plastic liners give off harmful chemicals when they’re heated. Just like aluminum foil does. I don’t think a lot of people know this.😢
