"to sing is to pray twice" -- a grace-filled arrangement and a graceful performance.
It’s amazing. Absolutely amazing A praise hymn written over 1500 years ago still make my spirit weep. And listening to such beautiful voices blessing God and all who watch this. Much love to all involved in this. Our Father is so happy because of you.

‘Be Thou My Vision’ ❤️ ancient Irish Traditional Air (Slane) & original words a poem in Irish attributed to Dallán Forgaill translated by Mary Elizabeth Byrne & subsequently Eleanor Hull arranged the words into verse. ✍🏻It’s a stirring piece & hauntingly beautiful when sung As Gaeilge 🕯This choir are stunning in their vocal & give this ancient beauty so much respect beautiful depth of feeling, simply brilliant artistry in song🗣🎵⭐️
The soprano descant in this performance was absolutely stunning, I hope dearly she still performs after high school

I was honored to sing with, as well as student teach these kids. They truly were at a college-level of singing, I just helped them out with that crazy Bb, haha!

This kind of exemplary simple but profound voicing is why so many contrariwise Bach performances are too large and thus heavy and ponderous. Of course divinely-inspired Bach's music pretty much utterly defies mere men's attempts to corrupt it, no matter what, typical for the divine, but it's so much simpler a beauty with only a few voices or players per part.
