It seems like a great experience. It’s a lot of money but that’s what it’s costs to have access to so many different kinds of coaches and trainers. Unfortunately tennis is a very expensive sport if you wish to play at a competitive level.
Very true 🙌🏼
I believe it shouldn’t be so much but for the one week it was worth what it would have costed to me
@@tennisbrothers you took only 1 week in the academy?
Yes 😁, as part of a camp
Then prove to us that it is worth it by joining for a year or so. Then tell me where you are at in your tennis career.
@@airbender9593 I stated that that one week was worth it to me, and that one week alone, i never mentioned anything about longer than one week , simply that for that week, the people i met, the tennis sessions i had and the experiences i had that it was worth it to me
I think it might be worth training for a very intensive week, however, it’s a huge amount of money to pay for the long term
Agree
1,500 euros including food, accommodation and this level of lessons seems totally decent, would be much more in the US
I think IMG is more , might do a worth it there this year
@@tennisbrothers IMG yearly tuition is around 60,000
Thanks my ass, dollar is inflated as fuck, you guys earn more money because euro is worth more.
YES!! More than a few of us are VERY happy for you (and maybe a bit jealous).Tennis professional or not, the memories will be with you for the rest of your life.
Thanks 🙏
I was so lucky to have got the opportunity as without Dunlop paying I wouldn’t have been able to afford to go
@@tennisbrothers you have a sponsorship?
@@FL-xc1wk Yes from dunlop
@@tennisbrothers Do you also have a sponsorship from Bidi Badu?
This is the type of stuff I wish I could've done when I was in school. I started playing tennis when I was like 12 or 13, but I never had any formal coaching. Just some public school coaches who didn't really care. Lol It seems like a great experience to go to something like this though, and I definitely would've wanted to go when I was in high school, but I probably wouldn't have been able to afford it. I'd still say it seems worth it though, at least at your level.
Thanks for the comment 🙌
I found it fun, and i do think it was worth it at my level 👍
Thanks a lot for the info. Having played tennis in EUR as a jr and college afterwards, but not having access to places like this back in the day, this is fantastic to see the development of the game and opportunities some juniors have 💪👍👌
It was amazing , but of course only the elite players or rich are able to have access , I would like to see it become more accessible to everyone in the future
It’s a once in a life time experience… so I think it’s totally worth it 💪
Yh that was my though process
From what I've seen on YT vids from Mouratoglou I think he's a businessman pure and simple but a tennis coach....no way..
I think he is also a coach , but more a business man
It's very expensive for our Burmese. Our country is facing with coup and we're in trouble about money.
I say it worths the money, cost of 6 nights of accommodation in a regular hotel is already like $500-600, meals cost $15-20 x 3 and 7 days. that leaves a remaining $600-700, thus for about $100 per day you are being trained by top class tennis coach, physical trainer, hit with professional players.
if you are serious about your tennis future, this worths every penny. 👍👍
Good luck on your tennis future man!!! 👍👍
Love what you're doing.... great job
Thanks Ian , means a lot coming from you , love your vids , been watching for a while 🙏
Look, if u can afford it, good!
If not, work with a local coach, get free tips online, keep practicing and challenging yourself with playing better players. Get your coach to watch some of the matches you lose.
And, play some weaker players now and then … overall court game you will find there.
NO. Most pros didn't have that. Shameful
I pay that much for a week in Mykonos so I'd say it's a decent price
It’s all subjective, £1700 is a lot of money to some and nothing to another
For all that is actually cheap to be honest and plus accommodations! I will be going one day to one of these type of places forsure.
I think a great advantage of those academies is the environment. Probably most players there would be as motivated as you, or probably more, isn't it?
How is the environment at your club? Are people disciplined as you? Do you go to clubs and parties? How do you deal with people that "don't get you"?
Thanks and great video
I think the atmosphere was amazing , which totally echoes your point , I think at my club it’s a lot less like mouratoglou as there are less players etc..
For me the way I deal with people that don’t get me is just to accept that we have different priorities and to understand that they might put the same priority on having a good time as I do on tennis and improving myself, and simply whatever happens isn’t your fault
Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Wow, great editing! Are you planning on going back to the academy In the future?
Thanks 🙏
Maybe, not sure yet, it is pretty expensive but was a really good training environment , and it made for some good footage to be fair
I think that is too much for a week
I think it is a lot as well !
Y is everybody so mad in the comments 🤣
I know right jheez
Did you have to pay? Or it was for free? Dunlop sponsors you and Mouratoglou. Did Dunlop have any participation in the deal?
Dunlop hosted a camp at the academy and i attended so i got the week of training for free
Really good explanation and experience, I am also a Taiwanese tennis player, I totally agree that the important thing is that it is worth spending more money to choose a famous coach.
No. But if you have money to burn, why not?
1.7k for a week LOL, of course its not worth it.
Do Nadal academy's next.
Hahah ok 🤷♂️😄
Also can you explain how the dunlop gave you this opportunity?
They invited me to a one week camp to train there as one of a few chosen players who have a dunlop contract
Could you make it cheaper if you had your own accommodation & food?
Yes definitely, there are a lot of different options to chose from
You go there cause previous route and other clubs or coaches recommend... you cant just go out of nowhere just to simply play... otherwise why it shouldnt be full only with rich people regardless country or age? MOST OF THEM WILL TAKE THEIR MONEY BACK...
Unfortunately, in general in my clinic those who are normal customers of private lessons are the more seen as better and are better in form
Hold on 1 tennis can is 10€? Dunlop Fort is only around 3usd per can in my country 🤔
It’s rough but in the uk it’s around 6-8 pounds so I converted then to euros which is around €10 , prices in London are crazy 😂
I want to know... if I sign up for this $1700 program, will I get to have a coaching session with Mouratoglou as well?
Or was just for you since you're a tennis youtuber?
Fair price!
I agree, I was expecting higher cost for that training. I would add a Saturday morning training session on court before leaving.
There was supposed to be , but because of the camp we did something instead
Sorry no, 1700 is way too much , that's 5800 a months, are you fkn kidding me..
@@Bambotb lmao, remember he got it free tho through Dunlop
And you wouldn’t go for a month at a time unless money was no object. If you don’t live in that city and you travel to a good academy, $1700/week is reasonable for room/board/training. Better to go to these academies for 7-10 days and then go play tournaments….provided you have decent training at home.
I am very interested in to Book a week at this Academy. I just wonder is it all worth it for me… Coz I don‘t play that good or long… allthough I am very ambitous but I Don‘t think I am talented…and then again is it worth it?
One thing I wish in life is tennis wasn't such a expensive sport working class people with average regular 95 jobs have no chance of making It as far as they would dream of doing
If you’re paying 1700 a week for tennis, you fucking better be going pro holy shit.
thats me at 2.10 with the long hair
Hahaha , I see you in the Mouratoglou Insta story a lot 👀
Kidding? It’s so cheap! That’s one week
Ridiculous amount of money 💸💰💸💰💸
I barely can afford a racquet 😧 you are living the dream
It must be a great experience to train and live like a pro during one week. Worthy or not ? Well, one week won't change your life and won't make you an ATP pro player but, whatever happens, it will be great memories. 1700 USD to live one of your dreams during a full week, it's not that much.
Word 🙌
you are the best keep going mate and do your best. Im sure your a real inspiration for many people
Thats insane money!! I stopped tenis cause of money cause i couldnt afford even 1/4 of them... like 300 per month...
I know its a lot !
are yuo sponsered by dunlop?
yes for rackets and bags and stuff like that
Looked super cool!
It was !
I will subscribe to tennis brothers😉
can we join only one week training ?
I try to book it, but it’s 4000$ with all these extras you had in the week! I don’t think I can afford that unfortunately....
It is a lot , i know
what is your next plan ? stay or leave the academy?
I was only there for a week so next part of the year is train at home for a bit and play some tournaments
@@tennisbrothers keep it up bro , I'm waiting for the next video !
Glad to hear it
need to see more footages from that camp.
Next weeks video will be longer and a more detailed experience of my week
Is Lucian still playing tennis?
Yes 🙌🏼
But is just revising a lot for his exams at the moment so isn’t filming a lot
Very good
You need to train there for years to see some results. It worth it if you can make it top 50 eventually, but for most, they can't make money on tennis. in U.S.A., we have IMG academy, the tuition is about $95K a year, and 90% of junior players ends up to D1 colleges and some can not even make to D1.
I think I’m the end it all comes down to you and your drive and not where you train or your surroundings , that’s the motto I have
Not worth it at all
Ok 👍 Everybody has their own opinion
If djokovic fed or nadal would be born again, they wouldn't need it
True
Did I miss the information on M camp location?
Were you there just recently - during the winter time (in northern hemisphere)?
I was at the one in France, 2 months ago
I'm from India, and can't afford hectic amount, what should I do?
In this video i am by no means saying this is the only way to become good at tennis, i think just get as many hours on court as possible and work as hard as you can ,on and off the court 👍
a ball of balls is 10$?
yh
Tennis Acadamies are great for player development and TERRIBLE for the sport. The only people in the world that can afford them are extremely wealthy parents (unless there is some kind of scholarship opportunity). You can’t become a profession player without joining one. So virtually the only professionals we see on TV had really rich parents. You don’t see this in football, basketball, and baseball to this extent.
I think tennis is definitely an unfair sport in that respect, it takes a large financial commitment to build a tennis pro, i dont think every player comes from an academy i just think that there aren't many other choices which are cheaper to be honest.
@@tennisbrothers there’s a lot of tennis players currently in the top 100 that come from nothing (Rublev for example), and they still made it! In the end, it’s all about your drive and how much you actually want it. Definitely comes with more sacrifices for people who can’t afford it, which is a shame and wildly unfair imo. I agree that it’s one of the only sports where having money DEFINITELY helps you get there, but it’s not everything.
is LTA supporting you as one of their junior development ? also why didn't you decide to go to college in United states and play for D1 team somewhere ?
He’s washed
Here's the thing do you have to be an advance player to get into the academy?
There are different levels i think, you can do camps and those are any level, but if you are there full time on the elite program you will have to advanced
If you include the food and accommodations, that right there would cost you just as much or more between a hotel and food, so it seems worth it......
Glad you agree 👍
Great film - really insightful. Good value if you take into food accommodation included aswell
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can’t even spell academy. Maybe should have spent more at actual school
Where did I spell it wrong ?
That cheaper than Nick's camp
Should i do a review of that as well then ?
Seems amazing and totally worth it! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Do you think the 19 year old you hit with will make a dent in the top 100?
To early to tell to be honest
This is peanuts for wealthy people.
🤷♂️
Yeah if just go for one or two weeks, completely worth it
I agree
good luck brother. keep on training, get better so the sponsors continue, wish much success in your tennis career.
I appreciate you , thanks
I think ,it is besser to get coachen from ex pro,who was like 200-300.for the same amout of money, you would get much better tips.
I mean ,you pay 1700 pro week ,to play withi this girl at 0:59. she should pay money to you for this practice
His parent didn't want him to go pro They wanted him to be a doctor instead.I mean that would be a fair argument if he didn't produce some of the worlds best players
The coach I had for the week was former top 200 , but I understand that you are saying I could have got more bang for my buck - fair enough
@@tennisbrothers you can jusst affort 50-100 Dollar per Hour for some active ATP Players.i am sure, you would find enough players, who would work with you
You get to see zverev or Serena?
Unfortunately not, i did see tsitsipas though
🙌
I'm NOT jealous!
😂
I am 11 years old and in the summer I want to go in tennis academy.Do you prefer Mouratoglou academy?
Do i prefer it to other tennis academies, is that what you are asking ?
@@tennisbrothers yes
@@tennisbrothers yes
love this
It is good as a one time experience. Otherwise it will lose lot of money for you with no good returns in sight.
I think for an experience of the week it was amazing
@@tennisbrothers I want to thank you for recording your activities within the MA. You are amazing showing us how you progressed through the years. I wish you all the best in 2022 and after.
Do you have any advice for getting back into tennis after the winter? I went back to training yesterday and found it difficult to play at the same level
I am currently about to start playing again after around 2 weeks off, the best thing to do is to start slow and trust that it will take at least 3-4 weeks to be playing your best tennis again depending on how long you took off, i would say stay patient and enjoy playing again
@@tennisbrothers thanks for that, it's just after the break and barely being able to serve started to worry me. Haha, thanks again and good luck this year.
The fact that you are able to keep up with atp and wta level players shows that you are really underrated.
My marathon friend could have keep up with it.
thanks
A very interesting insight, thanks!
No worries
Thanks for watching 🙌🏼

Well done
Love the content Felix . Happy New Year.Do you think players would get treated differently based on their skill level, for eg would people get the same experience as you even if they aren't as good as you?
I cant really speak for anyone else simply because i didn't really see what a lot of other people were doing, i think maybe at a lower level you will have more people per session perhaps but i honestly cant really speak to it as an experience to be honest, sorry
I think for someone at your level absolutely worth it. Wondering whether you would recommend for a high level club/lower level County player? I certainly wouldn't be hitting with world ranked players but do you think the academy could be beneficial for lower standard players ? C
I’m not sure to be honest , I think there would probably be better ways of spending your money but I would definitely recommend it as a life experience as it is a great Academy overall 👍
Nearly as dear as staying in a residential nursing home. Got to be a playground for the rich.
