    It seems like a great experience. It’s a lot of money but that’s what it’s costs to have access to so many different kinds of coaches and trainers. Unfortunately tennis is a very expensive sport if you wish to play at a competitive level.

    This is the type of stuff I wish I could've done when I was in school. I started playing tennis when I was like 12 or 13, but I never had any formal coaching. Just some public school coaches who didn't really care. Lol It seems like a great experience to go to something like this though, and I definitely would've wanted to go when I was in high school, but I probably wouldn't have been able to afford it. I'd still say it seems worth it though, at least at your level.

    I say it worths the money, cost of 6 nights of accommodation in a regular hotel is already like $500-600, meals cost $15-20 x 3 and 7 days. that leaves a remaining $600-700, thus for about $100 per day you are being trained by top class tennis coach, physical trainer, hit with professional players.
    if you are serious about your tennis future, this worths every penny. 👍👍

Better to go to these academies for 7-10 days and then go play tournaments….provided you have decent training at home.

    Tennis Acadamies are great for player development and TERRIBLE for the sport. The only people in the world that can afford them are extremely wealthy parents (unless there is some kind of scholarship opportunity). You can’t become a profession player without joining one. So virtually the only professionals we see on TV had really rich parents. You don’t see this in football, basketball, and baseball to this extent.

      @@tennisbrothers there’s a lot of tennis players currently in the top 100 that come from nothing (Rublev for example), and they still made it! In the end, it’s all about your drive and how much you actually want it. Definitely comes with more sacrifices for people who can’t afford it, which is a shame and wildly unfair imo. Do you have any advice for getting back into tennis after the winter? I went back to training yesterday and found it difficult to play at the same level

    • @tennisbrothers
      @tennisbrothers  2 года назад +1

      I am currently about to start playing again after around 2 weeks off, the best thing to do is to start slow and trust that it will take at least 3-4 weeks to be playing your best tennis again depending on how long you took off, i would say stay patient and enjoy playing again

      @@tennisbrothers thanks for that, it's just after the break and barely being able to serve started to worry me. Haha, thanks again and good luck this year.

    The fact that you are able to keep up with atp and wta level players shows that you are really underrated.

    Love the content Felix . Happy New Year.Do you think players would get treated differently based on their skill level,for eg would people get the same experience as you even if they aren't as good as you?

    • @tennisbrothers

      I cant really speak for anyone else simply because i didn't really see what a lot of other people were doing, i think maybe at a lower level you will have more people per session perhaps but i honestly cant really speak to it as an experience to be honest, sorry

    I think for someone at your level absolutely worth it. Wondering whether you would recommend for a high level club/lower level County player? I certainly wouldn't be hitting with world ranked players but do you think the academy could be beneficial for lower standard players ? C

      I’m not sure to be honest , I think there would probably be better ways of spending your money but I would definitely recommend it as a life experience as it is a great Academy overall 👍
