The best part is that I don't even think Cobra Commander was even aware of the double entendre, it was entirely meant as a respectful codename. Which is what Calvin wanted to begin with. He was even making a point of how he liked to wear black, so it isn't even like his choice of clothes isn't one thing he wanted to be known for. So really, the supposed bad guy was quite civil and valued his employee and that is why he earned Calvin's loyalty.

I still prefer DC to marvel personally but thanos wanting to wipe out half of existence to impress the female personification of death (because she’s hot) like in the comics makes a lot more sense than him wanting to balance the population by killing half of it.

Also, Cobra Commander was the nicer boss because he gave the good doctor the codename "Trouser Snake" completely unironically. Sure, it's a horrible name, but he meant well.

These guys have got some amazing writers, it's incredible what they can do with a couple of worn out clichés and some silly jokes. I especially loved the cancelled contest thing, it was just the perfect amount of cruel.

I know I'm looking too far into things but when he shoots snake eyes the bullet sound effect is shorter meaning the bullet was moving faster. He used a high velocity round for him because being a ninja he most likely has a much quicker reaction time than the other joes and could have dodged/deflected the regular bullet

What I really like about this is that the Cobras are actually a lot nicer. They weren't abusive to Calvin at all. The name they gave him, was so innocent, I don't even think Cobra commander noticed he was making a double entendre, he was just naive and trying to give him a nice snake-themed codenamed since it's Cobra after all. And so what this is really about, is that the good guys weren't so good, and the bad guys weren't so bad. Just like in real life.
To be honest, Fumbles seem to be a pretty good Codename for a sniper. Take your aim, Fire, and watch your targets fumble to the ground before they know what’s going on

This is the essence of most of Robot Chicken's humor. Take a children's show from the 80s and give it a very realistic and brutal edge.
But I want to know what happened afterwards! Did Fumbles retire with the really nice Cobra retirement package? What will happen to Duke now that everything he loves is dead; and will he find out he is the cause of the deaths when he gave Fumbles that name?
Duke would probably retire and turned into some crazy mental dude after such a loss. Fumbles would still work with Cobra in taking over the world and later retire at a new Cobra world order. After they got the weather dominator up and running again.

Went through a GI Joe phase as a kid and watched this, it horrified me. To this very day, my biggest fear, whether it’s in a book, tv show, playing video games, real life, or a movie, is always a sniper so far out that no one can hear the shots even without a suppressor, but still not missing. Too far out to be able to see the muzzle flash, no crack-bang to gauge the distance, no idea where the fire is coming from, just an Angel of death looming over you. It’s happened in books I read, movies and tv I’ve watched, and video games I’ve played. I still feel the cold grasp of fear, wrapping it’s fingers around my heart and choking me. I would always look out for the glint of a sniper scope as a kid after watching this, just terrified that it was real, and that someone would decide to do the same at my *elementary school*, at the time the fear was unfounded, but I still felt that cold grip in my chest. I still feel it today. I made this comment so dramatic partially as a joke because GI Joe was a fun kids show and they made this so serious, but none of this wasn’t real. I used fancy words but the fear was very real, and still is.
Reminds me of sniping the Gunners and raiders in Fallout 4. Now to start a sniper character named Dr. Fumbles or Calvin. He has a PHD in wholesale slaughter.
