I ride a R1250 GS Adventure and I have upgraded to a custom suspension. It is amazing how much more control you have when the suspension is set correctly. Most bikes come from the factory set to a 180lbs (82kg) rider.

You are spot on. Suspension should be tweaked continuously until you find what works best for you in the style of riding. Some people want an aggressive ride while others opt for a smooth and buttery ride.

Do you know how to set semi activ susspension on ktm 1290 SAS 2019 like You shown here? I can only set some damping and load on my TFT display, but for my weight (ca.118kg) and my wife (ca.85kg) and some luggage I getting Suspension Error. Probably we are to heavy together and I need to loosen the rear spring somehow.

My friend, that over 200kg. The maximum load capacity for these bikes with a stock rear coil is around 205kg. I would check w a KTM dealer and see if you can change the rear coil

@@Terra-Moto Thank You for the answer. I will look for aftermarket springs to increase load capacity in that case.
