Do you use the Grade Pro on the JD GP or not . Interested to hear your thoughts on this system. 19 years experience Kittson County in northern MN. Just got a new GP trying to make the Grade pro work.
I’ve tried it with some success but I’ve found that majority of the roads change so much between maintenance grading you end up cutting to much the places I’ve had success with the grade control is on a road I pulled shoulders on and blade the road every week I can use the grader control with no issues but on my other roads your better off just running it manually Just my experience with it thanks for the question and thanks for watching!
Thanks for the response. Had another operator from a neighboring county tell me he uses it on every road. He said it took some time but works great for him now.@@graderman140m
Oh wow that’s crazy I’m definitely not ready for snow weather looks good here for the next 3 weeks still got lot of blading and dirt work to get done yet so need the nice weather you stay safe up there ice is never any fun thanks for watching
I didn’t get to use the smart grade system on this machine I have used the smart grade system on a new dozer and found it very easy to use was very impressed with it.
I still favor the cat with the visibility out of the cab I do like that the Deere controls come with the seat that’s nice Deere makes a great machine now but I still think cat is better in my opinion. Thanks for watching!

I though the steering wheel turning with joystick .Nice
Yeah the steering wheel is separate from the joystick steering I mainly use the steering when roading the machine down the road.

We're already in the snow.up.here in Manitoba. Had a poopy night of ice rain last night and today.. I see a scarifier blade in my near future..

Michigan here, we got about an inch of snow last week but about an hour south of us got up to 11 inches
