  • We lower the mast into a cradle so we can cruise under the low bridges on the Erie, Oswego and the Trent-Severn Canal Systems.
The Great Loop is a 6,000-mile adventure that takes boaters around the eastern part of the U.S. & Canada. Loopers cruise aboard their own boats, often taking about a year, to complete the route. Learn about the Great Loop at www.greatloop.org

Saw you on another video. They're Canadian and just doing the Trent-Severn and Georgian Bay I think. Not Loopers. Finally Oars II(?). Told them they needed to crash the looper cocktail/sundowner gatherings. 99.9% of the loopers would welcome them, especially since this seems like something they do every year and people would want their knowledge. Said they did meet you.

Thanks for watching. Any and all boaters should stop by and visit with local knowledge at docktails. Finally Oars is great we docked near them a few times along the Trent-Severn.

And found out what "Cetus" meant too! If you've said it before, I must have missed it.

I need to mention how we name our boat more. My husband kept throwing out names. Finally he asked me what my thoughts were. I said Sirius, for the dog star. This was my call sign when I taught school. My husband asked if there was a whale constellation for our Whaleback. I asked Siri and she said Cetus, the whale or sea monster. 🐳 ⭐️

@@UnderwayDriftingNDreaming I googled it because I knew your boat was a whaleback, was telling them, but couldn't remember it was a, gonna miss spell this, Kady-Krogan,. Thought it might be a Nordhavn. Just knew it was made for the ocean too.

The Hudson River was gorgeous and a lot of early US river commercial transportation history. Thanks for watching
