Been following you guys since last summer, took two great camping trips after watching your videos. Love your earlier vlogs like this one. Looking forward to your future adventures. Thanks for enriching my life!
I made a huge pot of chicken & dumplings two days ago. I use Spanish saffron in mine. I also add potatoes and carrots. If you like Spanish saffron, try it some time.
Kellie, I learned to cut my butter into my flour when making biscuits etc, was shredding butter with a hand-held grader, learned this from Chef Carla Hall from the former show “ The Chew”. Best way I ever enjoyed shredding butter for baking. Love watching you cook and bake. Way to go young lady and I’m sure Cody and Jonathon appreciate your food. Thanks for y’all videos and all. Hugs.
Great video, could y'all do a video of your preparation for camping getting ready at the house and what happens when you get back home how you store camping gear
In 1979 when my wife and I were Married 9/79. On the Honeymoon we camped all the way to the south rim of Grand Canyon, and back. KOA campgrounds were everywhere out west. We live in Ohio. Had a Awesome trip. still love to camp today.
First, thank you for making me feel good about base camping, and on the ground when my friends want to drive trails, climb a ladder and sleep. Do it again, tomorrow. I like travel but I love to know where I’ve been. But I’m new to your channel and I absolutely would be butt hurt if I was setting up camp and “Dome Life’” drove by didn’t stop. Lol. Best video so far!
i'm a new subscriber and i've watched youtube for years and this channel is already my all time favorite!!! i have always loved the idea of camping and being surrounded by nothing but nature since i was a kid (i'm 22 now). i live in south texas there isn't much of that down here. 2020 was meant to be the year i finally started to explore and travel but covid happened i hope by summertime things start clearing up a bit. i've been binge watching you guys' vids all day!!
The pressure cooker is so cool! We had one at home growing up. It intimidated me. Never used it but Mom did. It was kind of a phase. Seeing you guys using it and putting it right in the coals is a great method. Ive never seen someone make dumplings either so that was cool too.
So this is about my 4th video of you guys I've watched (going backwards from newest) and I marvel at each one with what amazing stuff she cooks while camping. I do want to ask a question: Have you guys thought about changing up your setup with how much camping and travel you guys do? Like a roof top tent on a different vehicle? Just wondering and I'm about to start taking my wife camping in a month so I hope she likes it. She did lay down the rules of it at least has to be at a campground with shower and restroom though.
Thanks for watching. For now we are sticking with the hummer. We like the ground tent because we camp in areas where we want to leave our stuff and go do things around the area. With an attached roof top tent we would have to pack and unpack every time we want to leave camp.
The background music is nice. it really makes your VIDEO a “MOVIE. You have a good ear for picking a good piece to match your video (movie). i have a Go Pro & computer to make my own multi item video . You set “the barr” pretty high. for. competency. KEEP THEM COMING!!
Another great video! It was so peaceful and relaxing. I am very impressed you camped in such cold weather. I have done 28 degrees before, but I didn't look as relaxed as you two.
You guys have to come back to AZ but this time camp in White Mountains in the summer. Its out favorite place to camp.. It’s the very best!!!! (Look at Big Lake AZ) but make sure your not in a camp ground, find yourself a spot outside of the designated campgrounds
We are taking our kiddos on their first camping trip to Tallulah Gorge and Amicalola Falls in North GA! We are getting lots of good tips from you guys! We have a cast iron Dutch oven and plan to do your whole chicken you have done before 🥰
East wing. As in north, west, east. I've never heard est wing. Sounds goofy to me. I just found y'all recently. I'm in nw Arkansas and these videos make me want to check out further east. Great videos. Thanks guys.
We love the Ouachita Arkansas area, we plan on doing a lot more camping around that area too. Lake Ouachita is such a pretty lake area and so large we could spend months just exploring the lake alone. Enjoyed the video and hope to get to doing more camping like you guys are. Having a few health issues but after working through these I'm retired and my wife can work from anywhere with internet access so we may make y'all look like home bodys. ;-)
Another awesome video, food looks great! With all the great cooking you guys do out in the backcountry have you every had issues with bears snooping around camp at night? Take care -
I recently found y'all on RUclips!! I live in NW Arkansas and am new to camping on my own. I love your set-up and adventures. Do y'all dry camp? And do y'all know of any areas like that in NW Arkansas?
New RUclipsr here😊. Been trying to figure out how to plug in movie clips to go along what you’re talking about...when you mentioned the”Dumb and Dumber” clip, I would have loved to see you insert that clip in your video!😊 Anyways, love you guys!❤️
Hello guys, I love your channel. My husband and I are actually 5th wheel campers but love seeing the places you go and the hikes you do. After watching your videos my husband and I want to come to Arkansas. Do you have suggestions for a 5th wheel camping place in Arkansas? Would love any suggestions you might have. Thank you for your videos and any suggestions.

Another great video, im an old subscriber lol , for the new subscribers don’t mess with kelly’s cast iron skillets lol , cody we need a little trimming on the beard lol , when i saw you chopping that wood with the axe 🪓 I swear you looked just like jack from the shining, creepy lol , your friend from Savannah Georgia, manny 👍👍👍😋😋😋🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
We have camped in that exact spot before. (we also camp at the first spot on the left as soon as you cross the bridge) Last summer we were hanging out in the water and I turned around to go up to camp (probably for a beer) and a snake was chillin 2 feet behind me. Luckily it was a friendly snake, but still surprised me. Last time we were out there, we found a "potty" chair that someone left out in the woods. I guess they rather leave trash like that behind than dig a hole. There are so many awesome spots out there. Do y'all ever hike to Forked Mountain Falls? Best swimming hole out there! ps. Kelly is a trooper... I would NEVER camp when it is that cold!
Sweet, ya'll, was watching video of this girl hiking, an she had one of ur coffee mugs ,I thought about ya'll an bam this video pops up, weird right 😉😏🤔😁✌👍👋👋
I love the filming of this one and the music at the last part of the video went along with the emotional beauty of this land

The drone shot of your campsite at the start of the video....the best!!
I like your shots ... very good perspective.. also like learning about camping.

Total awesome. Gorgeous filming. Delish meals! What a wonderful life!
The best! Can’t get enough!
Cody ever think about using a battery operated chain saw? That ax/hatchet looks like a lot of work.
That would be a good idea
Great video again. I always look forward to you two
Kelly use Dawn Platinum PowerWash Dish Spray it cleans your dishes and all you do is rinse. I like using it at home.
Ok!

What did yall use to keep warm at night? Me and bf camped in 29F degree weather and we were freezing our butts off!!!
Thermals, sleeping bag, blanket, and comforter. Tent heater helps to get in and out of all the blankets
