Everyone really likes Nia's interviewing process, because he's a laidback genuine kind of dude. I'm sure Jacob will follow through on a season 5 interview
He's a great actor. He can make both Eli and Hawk so different and you feel like you are watching two separate people. Almost like how Christopher Reeve could play both Superman and Clark Kent and you believe him in both characters.
Thank you for the material like always Theory! I hope one day you can make a cameo in Cobra Kai or a Star Wars show sometime!
the fact that jacob improvised the spit on bo after beating him up makes the scene even more badass. It fit so perfectly with the disrepect.

I have been such a fan of karate kid since the 80s and remember looking forward to cobra kai.
I thought it was just going to be a quick money grab and only fans of the Karate Kid would like it. How wrong i was and I obviously didn't do my homework on the writers etc
This show I think has exceeded all our expectations. The arcs are amazing and the actors all do a superb job.
Im only 13 and I remember really liking. Jaden smiths karate kid and never knowing about the real one and this show has made me a fan of this whole lore

@@jasonjo1993 Yes especially post 2-1 last fight with tory sam when she started doing some crazy mortal combat level karate.
I agree that he’s equal to Robby on skill level because for a long time I always thought Robby was the superior fighter against hawk and hawk and he was until the tournament which I’m glad they proved that Robby and hawk are both equal in terms of skill level. I think hawk would put up a damn good fight against Miguel but Miguel is the superior fighter out of all the students because he has yet to beaten.

Eli/Hawk is my favorite character in Cobra Kai. He reminds me of my younger self. I was bullied and became quite the hellraiser, then I started to soften up and gain discipline. Now I'm a very different person. I honestly look back and remember the way I used to be and it's legit like I'm remembering things someone else did. He's just such a real character for me. This is a really great interview. Thank you both for this. Stay safe and healthy out there.

Hawk- "I know who I am now." Daniel- "Who's that?" Hawk- "The guy that's gonna win this whole fuckin thing!" I loved that line and then he wins the All Valley! I don't know if he would have wanted if Miguel didn't hurt himself but I'm glad he did! Theory you kick ass for all your content. Been watching your stuff for like five years now and you are my favorite channel. Keep it up man!!!!

Oh man.. he's a really good actor. I couldn't read his face when you explained your Season 5 theory to him. I was thinking of finding some hints which part of your theory sticks.
I feel like that is what really makes a great show or movie, when writers are open to the ideas of others. ALL the actors and actresses and the writers of course are just totally amazing. I'm so glad to see everyone there from the movies as well. I know, we'll see if Barnes comes back. Lol. I CANNOT wait for season 5.
And also Johnny and Hawk are my 2 favorites.

Fantastic interview! Whatever headspace Hawk/Eli happens to be in at any given moment, Jacob is able to communicate it so naturally and convincingly, sometimes with just a subtle look or gesture. Really great actor. On another note, are those DT1990s? How do you like them?
