Yes.The speical type of sand in those sand hills used to be brought down to Auckland for glass manufacture.Very quite up there but plenty of fish in good weather.Great place to Camp ,fish & hunt.The Far North is my "home town".... James.@@HoriandRangisAdventures
Bro , that's plankton, the part you thought was effluent, should of went for a drag net for some mullet may be the odd flounder, mullet love it. That's a good sight to see when the waters like that brother.
