Hey I have a question, I'm pretty new to SolidWorks and was wondering...if I modeled a wheel with a 9inch outside radius, can I THEN cut the finished model into quarters and 3D print each separately. Reason: printer only has a 10x10x18 volume to print in, I said 9inch radius to play it safe and not print right to the edge.
Ok I feel dumb now....I should just model 90degrees of a wheel and print it four times.
Though! If there is a way to perform the task I requested let me know for future reference.
    Thanks!

Thanks 4ur post! Yes, ur task can be easily dont buy split feature or cut by surface "to use a surface as a knife" then delete the not required ! I guess, I still didn't cover this feature in my Tutorial yet!Second, I guess u attended the wheel tutorial which I designed to be adapted for size changing by "1click", I guess that approach was helpful "changing the size according to used requirement"...
