How To Hide Instagram Following and Followers List

- There is a way to hide Instagram following and followers list using the Instagram app. By default, anyone on Instagram is able to see who is following you and who you are following.
There is really only one way to hide that on Instagram.
First, you'll have to make sure you have a personal account. You cannot do this with a creator or professional account.
Then, you'll need to make your personal account private. With private accounts, you'll hide your Instagram following and followers list.

@@evalgo8803 no unfortunately nothing at all. I’m thinking that it’s possible when your Instagram account is Blue Ticked certified and then you’re able to change setting. I don’t have any proof of that, however I’m aware the the Blue Tick comes with benefits.

You can , they are just idiots .. there is an option to hide who is following you even if you account is public / where above say only you can look for a specific person you follow , even if there are people that appear , but there isn’t the search bar , so super hard to find a specific person if you have a lot of followers .. , actually that is why I’m here for .. not this misleading title.

Hi! Can you talk about the list of followers too? when I go through the list of followers and get to the bottom it goes back to the beginning, and that freaks me out, because it's hard to search a person again in a list of thousands of followers

Why there is a big difference between the number of followers I see on the profile page of a friend and the actual list of these followers (I mean when u click on the followers and followers list opens)? For example the front page says that the person has 450 followers but when u click on them u see just 150. Is it a bug or there is a way to hide them? The profile is private and u need to send request in order to see the profile page and then click the list.

There should be a way to do it with public accounts imo. Maybe not everyone wants their friends, especially if they have a smaller 'following,' to be 'available.'

I wish Instagram did what TikTok does where you can private who you follow even on a private account. I have some noisy family members lol. I can’t wait till the day comes and they do that. It makes me want to delete Instagram that they don’t do that.
