OK. Where are all the famous people, very wealthy artists, who are from Philly? Maybe they didn't attend PSA, but people from Philly have to stick together. Kevin Bacon, Kevin Hart, Wil Smith, Richard Gere, Pink, Bradley Cooper, Tina Fey, Daryl Hall, John Oats, and so many others. Pony up some donations !!! Use your celebrity platform to get a big corporation to finance the school. Am I right? Or what?
This is an example of journalists and people not doing their research. Firstly, the $102M debt was the coup de grace that did UARTS in. But the question of where did this debt come from doesn't get answered. If people searched the docket, what they would find is that UARTS was involved in a heft court case centered on a civil rights violation. They hired 3 lawyers plus a law firm to defend themselves. The lawsuit is centered around the fact that for almost 15 years now they've been actively and blatantly discriminating against straight white males both in terms of student acceptance and employment. The evidence against them was so overwhelming that it was obvious they were going to lose. And lost big they were. 15+ years of sex and race discrimination adds up. Then there was a court case not long ago where they lost. They lost because they thought it a brilliant idea to honeypot a teacher simply because he was a straight white male. Again, the women who took part in this crime were so arrogant . . . . so bigoted that they concocted their plans via email and left their plans on the school server. In addition to this, UARTS was facing lawsuits over their forced jabbing 2 years ago. That their policy left a workers injured. You know minor heart failure, heart damage, cerebral and pulmonary damage. I mean who needs a heart, brain, or lungs? Those are just useless organs to human survival. Now, when an employer forces their employee to take a medical prophylactic, the liability transfers to the employer. There is a lot more I can discuss, but I will leave it at.
This is so sad.😢
Philly born and raised moved to Nashville in 2018, best decision I’ve ever made. Very supportive artist community.

Kathleen turner and Danny Glover also
This is a real shame but students need to stop wasting their time protesting and focus on finding another school.
