This is one of the most beautiful of all national anthems, in my opinion - the melody composed by Mozart himself a few days before his untimely death. It's wonderful to hear and see it sung so proudly, as well it should be! I wish I were as proud of my country (the United States) nowadays as these fine people clearly are of theirs. warum singen die ausländer nicht mit? ich bin deutscher und will nach meinem abi auch nach österreich ziehen, aber als fremder in einem neuen land gibt man sich doch mühe, sich zu integrieren um nicht mehr als ausländer, sondern wahrhaftiger österreicher zu gelten?! ich persönlich möchte nicht diesen ausländerstatus beibehalten, sondern so österreichisch wie möglich werden!!

Sie ist wunderschön, sie stärkt das Zugehörigkeitsgefühl und es gehört sich verdammt noch mal so! Wir könnten uns die lästigen (leider nötigen) Diskussionen über Ausländer sparen, würden alle die gleiche Einstellung haben wie Du.
