    Thanks for sharing video.
    I would like to have one!
    It is a fuss to rearrange things from a suitcase to hotel room and back in,
    What is the weight?

      That's my plan. The trunk is a place to store all these smaller ancestral heirlooms.

    Can I ask what you used to clean it? Inside and out?

    Your secret compartment in the bottom drawer looks like it also held an iron at one time.

    Thank you for sharing. Have you dated the trunk?

      Not yet! We are thinking this is 19502-ish, because it is in such good condition.

    Does anyone know what you hang on the hangers that have the curved up lower pieces?

    • @derrickdaringer2239
      @derrickdaringer2239 Год назад

      From what I have found, they are simply used to hold the other garments in place during transport.

      @@derrickdaringer2239 I eventually found out that they are for hanging long dresses! The top of the dress is supported by the curved piece, and you flip the long skirt up and over the top to hang behind. When hung back in the trunk, the top of the dress is hsnging upside-down. Difficult to describe, but rather ingenious.

      I have also seen an advertisement that stated similar long hangers to be suit coat hangers. Most likely a similar method to hang them as well.
