Hyein(the youngest member. 16y) was missing in this video. She has a foot injury.
Members are: Minji 20, Hanni 19(20 later this year), Danielle 19, Haerin 18, Hyein 16.
Hanni(short hair in this video) is Aussie/Vietnamese. Danielle(blond) aussie/south korean. The others are from south korea.
All their songs are good. If you love storytelling MVs. You should look at "Ditto" side A and side B. Same song in two videos, that are connected. You will cry.
After that "OMG" MV that are connected to "Ditto".
NewJeans are the reigning 2023 Billboards' "Group of the Year" award recipient and they are a 5-member group; the youngest is on hiatus due to a foot injury during practice.
I read an article recently that said with BTS off to the army and Blackpink tied up with contract negotiations NewJeans is currently the biggest K-pop group in the world. They have a VERY big social media footprint.

its a newjeans song by newjeans producers on a newjeans album, its not a coke studios produced song for a coke ad... its just sponsored by coke as newjeans do have a contract with them .... they have 2 other songs that ARE coke studio productions for coke ads though... one is 'zero' and the other is a collaboration called 'be who you are'.
Being a 90s teen also myself you will love newjeans... all heir music is 90s based.. their earlier stuff is 90s rnb while their later stuff like this song are all 90s clubland sounds... this is what makes them different to literally the rest of kpop... its not cutesy pop nor is it aggressive trap which most girl groups in particular are... its their 90s 'mainstream uk garage' which got me into them as thats the sound of my late school /uni clubbing days... they also do 'miami bass' which is what how sweet is (being into rap and a 90s kid you probably remember this genre) and also blend in 'jersey club' and drum and bass.. i would urge you to check out an (un)helpful guide to newjeans 2024 version it gives you all the info you need in a very fun and informative way and shows you just how talented these girls are... they are all so good at everything that they don't even need official postions.

I don't know about being the best group ever since they just debut 2 years ago. They're good don't get me wrong but they still have a long way to go when you compare their accomplishments with groups that have been around much longer than they have are still around such as Twice.
