This set gets better with each song. These guys find their groove and end with a bang.
At long last here's a non-Brazilian drummer who can keep the bossa nova beat extremely well! In fact, he sounds better than most American jazz drummers do in that particular. Congratulations from a jazz aficionado from Brazil. As for the show as a whole, very nice indeed. Mr. Hamilton has always been a champion for traditional jazz, and, in my opinion, this is what jazz is about.

Sounds just almost like Stan Getz. A little different on the technique, of course he has his own great style; He's just awesome. The whole trio is just excellent. Bravo!!! I'd love to book him for a gig.

The last number (the encore) was "Sweet Georgia Brown" - if you mean the previous one, with which they actually closed the set, that was "The Summer Wind."

Ah...?!! Dis donc Philou, tu y vas fort quand même! Christophe Le Van a "accompagné les meilleurs chanteurs, comme Michel Leeb" (sic!!!). J'en reste interdit..! Pourquoi pas Chantal Goya..! C'est lui faire offense tout de même de le présenter de la sorte! Bon, c'est vrai qu'il a aussi accompagné, un soir de beuverie, ses potes au café du coin (dont j'étais) à l'occasion d'un "Happy Birthday" et même Shirley de "Shirley et Dino"... Mais, était-il vraiment nécessaire de nous rappeler ces détails, aussi scabreux que personnels pour le présenter..?!! LOL....
