I'm with you on Exia. In the last battle when Exia returned in full form I teared up. Then I went and bought myself an Exia Gundam Kit with light up a GN Drive.

Should’ve been top 5, wing zero is overrated in my opinion as well as strike freedom. But Barbatos at 9th makes me disappointed that’s my only issue
Carlos reyes i love Wing for the nostalgia since it was my 1st Gundam show, but Wing Zero, Strike Freedom and some other gundams are crossing the line back into super robot, the very genre Gundam set out to differentiate itself from in the 1st place by pioneering the real robot genre.
That is why i fell in love with IBO. Its a realistically fresh take on the genre. I also love their choice to not incorporate beam weapons in the story as giving gundam energy weapons can turn most fight scene into cheap flashy light show too fast. Not to mention that since IBO uses blunt weapons, its easier to visualize all the pain and suffering a pilot can experience in these series, not that it lacks any visualisation most dying pilots in this show. XD
Mikazuki Augus. The greatest last stand in anime if you ask me.

STRIKE FREEDOM at #2
I honestly don't have any issues with this list... Except one. Kira is NOT Kira "Jesus" Yamato, it just Kira Yamato. People just keep referring to him as Jesus because his character has so much plot armor he could probably tank a shot from the Moon Light Butterfly and then still tank the point-blank nuclear explosion of his Freedom Gundam and live. HOW CAN ANY "HUMAN" TANK A NUCLEAR EXPLOSION THAT OCCURS LITERALLY 10 FEET FROM YOU AND NOT BE KILLED! Also, the Strike Freedom uses the broken Voiture Lumiere propulsion system, that system can NEVER work the way it is described.
I would place Unicorn in top 3 because of the fact that its full psychoframe stopped a colony laser, and it travelled through time, basically made its pilot transcend the human form and then return. 00 QAN (T) also belongs for essentially the same reasons. Aside from the Turn A, those two are the most powerful Gundams ever.
I love the Death Scythe gundam. That thing has cloak function while in space.
All the Gundams in Wing series deserve a nod, each one is so unique.

Epyon always seems to get kicked around as worthless,I liked it simply because it didn't Beam Cannons or Machine Guns or Extension Arms,even the Heat Rod had a limited range it was a close quarters/melee range mobile suit.

RX-78-2 always guys, always will be the #1 in a top ten gundam list and it's simple because it's the first Gundam, not only the idea of "real mecha" serie, not only eliminate the gigantor idea from mechas and their "brother/father image" of the mecha. It was so simple at that moment "The mecha it's a warmachine, simple as that", tha'ts the reason why Gundams are so popular since 1979.
I always loved the original because it had what it needed and nothing more. A heavy weapon, check. A beam rifle that could hit targets at a distance, check. A shield to block stuff with, check. And beam sabers for melee, check. It wasn't super flashy with over the top fire power but if Amuro needed something done the Gundam had the tools for the job.

Wow........some Gundam "fans" are arrogant and pretentious. At least the watchmojo people actually watched the series this time around and voiced their own opinion. Yeah yeah... Seed,Wing, and 00 are on the list but you know what? Without either of those additions Gundam would not survive to 2017. I may be a UC fan but at the end of the day each piece of the Gundam franchise has it's own merits lol even G Savior and G Gundam. So come on open minded Gundam fans voice your own positive opinions to make the fandom look better because I see too many butt hurt little kids making dumb I hate this and I hate that comments here. libertygundam80 don’t blame Shinn, blame the writers for making his character that way and not changing him throughout the series. Honestly the characters from Seed have more focus and development than the ones from Seed Destiny.

Agree it could have been good with the big emphasis on "could have" they needed better writers not only that it didn't help seed born the kira cult literally threaten to bring back kira or watch rating drops which is why the astray mangas are soooooo good cause you know it has actual paceing and good story which break my bloody heart that anime series could have been that good .also going to say it blunt i like the original freedom and justice .they look like they supposed to experiential machine that has literally all zeon tech before dragons rail caynon from those walking ms which name I forgot the backpack of the dinn and even sword bomerangs and there sweet as ms transport. heck even then I like the infinite justice I just stand the strike freedom anymore which a little of the design but must be the color dear lord after rewatching destiny I can said that metalic does not go well with that color that it has I could nickpick that you can dissect the Ms and literal seen other ms from other series like a kit bash don't care you get those kind of things after being so old. But I wish they made at least more real robot than super robot. Which show that seed destiny was bad from lazyness, bad writers that sadly often pressure and the god dang toxic kira cult base. I seen the internet gundam wars of 2000's of u.c fans and the kira cult fans it something I never want to see again .fun fact the shin destiny gundam was actualy scrap ms design when there where designing kira 2 Ms after losing the strike it the reason some destiny have some similarities to the freedom but what it was if you look a the stealth design it original look. it's a bloody amped up perfect strike no serious put the perfect strike the scraped image of the perfect strike and the destiny together and you can see literally the strike gundam under all the equipment it also the reason why the Destiny anti ship sword was complete garbage than the sword impulses superior design the" more you know huh"

The fact that this video used the original Seed Destiny Strike freedom launch scene with Vestige soundtrack instead of the remastered, made this Top 10 worth watching
the wing zero gundam was always my favorite next to the deathscythe piloted by duo maxwell, both Gundams were bad ass in the endless waltz series.

Hydrogen One ZZ Gundam was a lame series. Going from Mobile Suit Gundam to Zeta Gundam and then ZZ Gundam was just lamed compared to those two.

I really loved IBO but let's face it, Barbatos is just strong in it's own universe and probably will have a hard time up against other Gundams
Adrian Javellana Especially since it's more of an all-round Gundam and it doesn't really have a special gimmick/Ace-In-The-Hole besides its Blue Flame mode which would kill Mika if he used it for too long

Great list! Obviously my personal top 10 are slightly different, but all in all, those are very worthy and awesome Gundams, and I definitely agree that nothing other then dear old rx78 can take the number 1 spot :)
Glad you guys went back and redid this list. This second time around does the franchise a lot better.
My favorite is still the X-20A Strike Freedom and Kira as the Pilot. Perfect duality between don't wanting to fight and having the power to finish of everything in the blink of an eye

Jetfire48 Dude, this list is based on most popular and iconic. Not strongest. If it were strongest, Turn A and 00 Qan[T] would take the top 2 spots no contest.
My two top favourite would be the wing gundam and the gx divider. As for terms of raw destructive power I'd say the Double X, Wing Zero, 00-Raiser and is it the GP-01 or 02 that fires nukes.

But #Prime92 personally pointed this video out to me, and said 'it is good'. So, I held my nose and dove in... and, truthfully, I was not disappointed this time.
They actually took the time to do some damn _research_ and they listened to the feedback from the last list. The fact they said things like 'the Wing ZERO has more personallity that its pilot' and mentioned the infamous Kira Yamato's -fan- cultist nickname proves this.

Then, first of all, good taste, I very much agree with you, but do you know about the Exia Avalanche? If not, look it up on the Gundam Wiki, it's from the Mobile Suit Gundam 00V manga. It's the Exia equipped with a high speed/high maneuverability armor pack called the "Avalanche" armor pack.

3:18 A common and easy-to-miss error: the series is correctly titled _Mobile _*_Fighter_*_ G Gundam._ While _they do have_ "mobile suits" in the series for actual warfare and national defense, the mecha from each country which is used specifically for the Gundam Fight competition (Cobra Gundam, Dragon Gundam, Shining Gundam, Mandala Gundam, John Bull Gundam, God Gundam, etc.) is called a "mobile fighter".
Don't tell them that! Next thing we know they gona say that those are not gundams. just like with Hyaku Shiki!

Without getting into too much detail, in the grand scheme of things the GP-03S Stamen really isn't that much of a stand-out Gundam-in-name. It has a common beam rifle, a common bazooka, -some Vulcan guns in the temples- a pair of common beam sabers, a compactable shield, and... well, that's it. In fact, other than an advancement of technology in only, like, _one year,_ the GP-03S isn't really all that different from what the original RX-78 offers except perhaps only its _lack_ of a Core Block System!
It's nothing special _unless_ you add the brick-ish cargo carrier-with-a-big-gun Dendrobium Orchid to the mix, and _even then_ it loses its "Gundam" status (and thus position on this list) because at that point it's a "mobile armor" and not a "mobile suit". Strike Freedom can get away with being on this list because it _isn't incomplete_ if it's not attached to a METEOR Unit; the same goes for Exia (GN Arms Type-E), the RX-78 (G-Fighter), and Gundam Mk-II (G-Defensor).
I'm content with the list actually, I do prefer the Deathscythe over the Turn A though. I also love the Strike Freedom ^^

Everyone also forgets the Wing Zero has a precognitive system that can see the outcomes of it's battles and act accordingly to win every single time.
No it can't. The Zero system only gives possible outcomes with the data it's currently collected. It wouldn't win every single time. Like if it fought a brand new Gundam. It would have no info on it, so the possible outcomes would simply be dependent on what the Zero system has learned from other battles. Anything new the opponent uses would be a surprise.

You've _never_ heard of the infamous Cult of Kira "Jesus" Yamato before...?

The Cult of Jesus Yamato is a very specific, very small and particularly ravenous group of _SEED/SEED Destiny_ fans. They claim that because Kira Yamato had three miraculous escapes from death (which would have annihilated any other competent character in either series), he is _literally_ immortal and hands-down thee very best MS pilot (and, by extension, thee very best character) _ever_ in the entire _Gundam_ franchise.
The three miracles are as follows:
*1* - the Aegis Gundam self-destructing at point-blank range while he was inside the breached/exposed cockpit of the Strike Gundam.
The TV series never explains or shows how Kira miraculosly was transported to a PLANT, but it is described in the MSV _SEED Astray_ that the Junk Guild group just-so-happened to be in the area at the time and was covertly watching the fight, and took Kira to the PLANT. (Of course, if you don't read the MSV, then you don't know this!)
*2* - _[I am soooo blanking on the second miracle right now, I'm sorry!]_
*3* - the explosion of the Freedom Gundam's nuclear reactor from the Impulse Gundam impaling it with its Anti-Ship Sword.
NOTE: For _SEED Destiny Remastered, new animation was added_ which shows Kira hit the Neutron Jammer Canceller activation button a split second before the reactor was hit; thus preventing a nuclear explosion due to the mechanics of how NJCs work. However, this is highly contested by fans because a massive explosion still occurs, but the show's staff claim they added this moment because such an explosion is 'not nuclear' and thus explains how Kira survived the destruction of the Freedom Gundam _even while he was still seated inside of it._

It is well known that both _Mobile Suit Gundam SEED_ and _Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny_ (both acknowledged by Sunrise and Bandai as intentional remakes/rehashings of the original Universal Century series _0079, Z_ and _ZZ,_ respectively) were plagued with plot holes and bad writing behind-the-scenes. However, Cultists ignore these blatantly-obvious production flaws and instead use them as convenient excuses for their own arguments and case, to prove that Kira "Jesus" Yamato is- in their minds- the greatest MS pilot _ever._
“Jesus” is the nickname he got after Destiny. A reference to how he always survives stuff that would end anyone else.
EVA_Unit_4A People talk about Kira “Jesus” Yamato being immortal. Pfffft. They clearly haven’t seen our true lord Patrick Corlasour the Indestructible. Not even a main character and he never fucking dies. This man is the true immortal.
I think Gundam Zabanya from Gundam 00 movie is worth mentioning since it has equal or more fire power with Strike Freedom. That's just me since I thought that the Gundams in the 00 movie are all powerful.
If this were uploaded in 2019, Jona Basta's Narrative Gundam (especially C Packs) from Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative would be the 4th Honorable Mention after Gundam Alex, and the intro of this video would say that this Redux was also to celebrate the 40th anniversary.
This is just my opinion, tho.

Someone at mojo has a vendetta against Build fighters. Not one yet. An I know that it is a show about toys, but it doesn't change the fact that some of those Gundams look, fight, and perform amazingly. An really, aren't all Gundam shows just toy commercials in the end? Lightning Zeta Gundam from try, and Star build strike would have made a good addition to the list.
Edit: I rewatched the video I was thinking of and it was the top 10 Gundam pilots that said no Build fighters. Still though, this list needs a mech from build fighters.

I think turn A is the strongest, I mean, it's moonlight butterfly outcompetes anything the zero system or the phyco system. In my opinion at least
The thing is, in a duel, moonlight butterfly isn't that good, sure it's a super weapon but a quicker gundam can start destroying turn A before it can fire, not like regeneration is perfect either. Most powerful, turn A, but best overall, could be any of these really.

Exia has nothing against the 00 Raiser which can teleport and exert massive amounts of power. The Full Armor Gundam of Thunderbolt should also be on this list. At least you added the Nu Gundam.
This is not a "most-powerful blue-colored Gundam ever" list, but rather a[nother] "most popular blue-colored Gundam according to Watch Mojo" list.
_But to be fair,_ they at least fixed their mistakes from the previous _Gundam_ listing, _and_ show clear signs of actual _research_ this time. Debate the order on this list all you like, but give credit where credit is due, please.
Its their favorites, not the most powerful. I LOVE that they put the Original Gundam at number one and the RX-78 deserves it. Strike Freedom for me should've been 3 with the Wing Zero at 2. Sorry but the angel wing Gundam remains the most iconic gundam mobile suit in the series. And they also got rid of that dreadful Star Build Gundam. I liked Build Fighters but their mobile suit gunpla need a list of their own.

Femto That’s true, whenever you see a Gundam with angel wings you instantly think of the Wing series. It’s not as iconic or popular with the newer Gundam fans though.

I... am.... triggered. There's just something about Kira and Freedom that i don't like. To me, i think Exia deserved the 2nd spot. But i guess this is other's opinion so... oh well.

Wing Gundam Zero is by far my favorite Gundam. Apart from that, I don't know if I could make a list. This seems like it could be a fun challenge I shall return later after giving it some thought.

They should do research and only made he list worse. They should watch the anime itself, read the manga and then do the research and finally create this list. The Strike Freedom should be replaced with any other mobile suits placed lower on this list.

Red Gundam Ranger Kira is hardly the first Gundam protagonist to survive his own MS exploding with him in it. That kind of plot armor is practically worn by nearly all Gundam pilots. I hardly see why Kira is any different.

My personal fav is the Strike Freedom, and close 2nd is Barbatos. Would love to see the RX-78 Gundam in a more modernized animation style like the latest Gundam-series are, but since i only started watching the Gundam franchise at SEED, i prefer the modern style.

that's the story plot indeed, what i mean is about the actual reason, not about the story plot, everyone who watch the series will know that. i refer to the fan poll, exia is much more popular than 00 as MS, that's why the director make that plot.

The Gunpla I use in Gundam Breaker 3 the Gundam Wild Cat is literally a fusion of Exia, and the 00 Raiser with Wing Zero's Buster Rifle/Double Buster Rifle as the ranged weapon.

I personally agree with you. Nothing beats the granddaddy of all Gundams ( this is only my opinion I'm literally sure that all of the Gundams in this list can destroy the RX-78-2) this should've been "iconic Gundams" than top 10 Gundams.
