Chocolate, Mr 3-2, Snoop & CPO - "Niggas Is Like That" (OOP)

- At a time when Death Row was considering signing the Convicts they were also considering signing Chocolate. Chocolate's music career goes way back. His first major commercial success was ghost writing "Ice Ice Baby" for Vanilla Ice. Chocolate was never paid adequately for the song, that is why Suge Knight held Vanilla Ice over a balcony one controversial evening, to extort payment to Chocolate. At the time Suge was Chocolate's manager. That's why Suge was considering making Chocolate an inmate. "Niggas Is Like That" was recorded on Death Row in 1992. This happened often. Potential inmates would make songs before they were signed, in preperation for when they were signed. Chocolate later released an album "Life-n-a-Day" off of Death Row on Ghetto Life Records (so excuse the "Crime Life Records" in the video = mistake) in 1993 and featured this song. The album is out of print and a bit hard to find. This song is a great example of what Snoop Dogg's mythical first album "Over The Counter" was like. It featured alot of artists who's Death Row career never really took off (D.O.C, RBX, Convicts, Chocolate, etc.).
Produced by Chocolate.

can u imagine if it happened that 3-2 signed to Death Row and if 3-2 stayed in Texas... or put his connections from Texas on Death Row... now imagine Pimp C with 2pac and Mr 3-2 because Mr. 3-2 was on "one Day" by UGK... mayne man!!!! Who knows if that would have even happened with 3-2 on Death Row

"Playin' For Keeps" and "Mr. Officer" from the Convict's Death Row album. I personally believe there's a couple more. "Jack'Em", "Knokin' Off Everything", and "Welcome To Death Row" are unconfirmed but have been cited as collaberations while on Death Row.
Still unreleased? Where they At???!

I don't hear Big Mike but I do hear 3-2 in Snoop's style back then.
And Dre sampled 2 tracks from that Convicts album for the Chronic.
I have both albums ... which tracks did he sample?
Fuck School was one. I think Lyrical Gangbang sampled that one. Can't remember the other one off hand

There are different versions of it, but I only have five songs from it and they are posted.

It was on Chocolat's album which is available today. A relic

Yeah my bad, I was making alot of videos at that time. I think I got some slides mixed up.
I believe it was made before.
Dohjah uploaded a version of "Playin' For Keeps". It's in poor quality. Just search it.
"that is why Suge Knight held Vanilla Ice over a balcony one controversial evening"....controversial because it never happened
have you got any early 213?
Been tryna' contact him. He's probably a busy guy. Isn't online much.
There are not very many sources that offer the album.
💯💯👊🏾
Don't think so & it showed a foto of Chocolates album, but I don't think it's on there either. I think it's 1 of those unreleased row songs. Any1 know?
The only place that you can get it from that I know of is ebay or from Chocolate himself. Just send a message to Draftzmen (above).
This is some classic shit, how old is this?
