The part where the little boy is held hostage is so very wrong for such a young actor to endure. This type of acting should not be permitted. He's just a child and the drama is great until you hit this scene. It's not necessary! You can see the expressions on his face that he is taking this scene very seriously. All for the sake of money?!! And the parents should never have permitted this kind of treatment, either. The producers, directors, writers, parents should be ashamed of themselves!

Is the sound cutting in and out for anyone else? At times the music is louder than the talking and periodically the sound is gone completely for me. Wow Lanlan has a lot of crappy people around her. I get the wicked stepmom and half sibling, but even her bio dad was just greedy for what his widow left. Her husband was lied to and it doesn't look like she ever said anything to the contrary, because he actually listened to what she had to say in the hospital. The dr that was suppose to be her friend actually did cause a lot of her heartache. The dr friend knew that in order to save Lanlan, Youtang had to agree to a divorce, then created drama to get her to leave before they could talk. Only just over half way, hope it has a happy ending.
