I know its a pain, ive had plenty of attempts at 6:1 Titanics. But I would say 12:1 is a better scale. With 10 your thinking Metric. Thats not how Titanic/Olimpic was built. If you asume a block is a yard, 12:1 is better as it gets you thinking in Imperial. Its better than 6:1 even as you get a block for every 3 inches, which is the diffence between the spaceing of the 'ribs' and beams. 6:1 you have to alternate. The Hull is one of the Biggest pains, its difficult to make it look right. Ive never completed a Titanic that is to a high standard. I get too ambitious. Hull detailing, Sheer, Scale, lighting (becomes large issue with these large builds.) I have had plenty of cemi built Titanics. Recently looked into makeing a resorse pack to make a detailed 2:1 Titanic.
Well you see, I know that one block is a meter. So whenever I get measurements for something, I always convert it meters instead of feet if it’s not in meters. Also, I think 10:1 is big enough, 12:2 is even bigger! Thanks for the advice though :)
When I started, I had some extra time. Now I don’t have much extra time. However, I am trying to work on it a little more. Update 2 will hopefully be sometime this month.
I would get distant horizons, but my computer already struggles just to render the bow with a 32x32 texture pack (no shaders) so I don’t want to break my computer. I’ll hopefully be getting a much better grafix card, instead of my old GTX 770

Gotta get Distant Horizons so you can actually see the whole thing :)

@@brettthegreat0883 Get a good fps mod pack like fabulously optimized or something if you don't already have one.
@@brettthegreat0883 nah get optifine, helps run mods and reduce lag
