    Rotosound Trubass 88 on Get Back, I've Got a Feeling, One after 909,...All of the Get back/Let it Be sessions really. I put them on my Hofner. Haven't changed them since. McCartney did change them, but what does he know... ;-)

    thanks for doing this but why did you put reverb on the bass when we want to hear the natural sound of the strings?

    I love the way the strings sound, but I can’t tell if it’s those EMGs give them that tone or if it’s the reverb. I would love to hear them on a regular old passive P Bass.

    I put the short scale version of these strings on my Ibanez Mikro bass and I run the split pickup in parallel and it gets very close to that Abbey Road/Let it be sound. Its my Beatle bass on a budget.

    The softest sounding strings on the market. I use these on a fretless p-type bass and the reason is because of the upright -like sound so it's interesting to find out that that's what James How was aiming at.

    • @ChurchillCigar
      @ChurchillCigar 8 лет назад

      It's a 45-105 set of roundwounds under the nylon wrap, so low to medium tension.

      If anyone's still following this, they're actually 65 - 115. They say they're low tension, I haven't tried them yet.
