I met Tony on the 1 train headed to 34th st several years ago. He got on on 59th street headed downtown. 3 stops away from my stop I approached him as no one on the train car recognized him but me. I said “ Tony, I know I look young as hell but im a big fan of taxi and who’s the boss”. Tony smiled and said “ Thanks a lot man. I’m headed down to the theater now for rehearsal. I went to a wedding in Baltimore many years ago and all the reception and festivities were in the Hyatt Regency down by the inner harbor. We all stayed there. At some point during the soiree, someone from the wedding party got her purse snatched. Tony Danza just randomly happened to be staying at the hotel, and witnessed what transpired. He couldn't have been cooler, it was basically near checkout time on Sunday morning, but he stayed around to talk to the police and help out in any way he could. Danza couldn't have been nicer, to a bunch of random people. Incidentally, Baltimore is Tupac's hometown.
