one of my favorite resident evil games. been years since i've played this. it is underrated,the dodge mechanic,mercenary mode,choices,unlockables and even the background for a ps1 experience were all amazing. thanks for giving some love to a great classic.
An interesting game as you will get different cutscenes in the game depending on where you go first, sometthing that Capcom still hasn't replicated in another game and it gives this game a lot of replay value to try and play the game in different ways to see all the kinds of different cutscenes
@@matthewfreeman9392 that depends on what region you live in. the US version of director's cut only changed the soundtrack and had different camera angles for arrange mode. and I dont believe any version has extra/different endings. and re2 just has the 4 scenarios, yes there are different cutscenes depending on which one you do but none of it is dynamic during gameplay like re3 is
@Spazbo4 I'm referring to saving different characters like Chris and not having to even kill the tyrant or blow up the manson. Depending on what events you do, you can alter cutscenes and endings. Not to mention, there are two playable characters. I'm just saying this wasn't the first one to have a few replay values. I just beat it again for ps1 yesterday

This game also had this unique perspective, it’s neither first person not third person. Its this cinematic style of the game that is so awesome. I wonder if newer AAA games come with such cinematic style gameplay.

Man, the absolute stones you have to just be casually solving puzzles and picking up items whilst completely ignoring enemies and disrespecting Nemesis. Brilliant playthrough! Well done on all your hard work.
2:54:00 What happens if you "Ignore it and evacuate"? That thing is followed you for the whole game so I think it's pretty obvious it will catch up to you at the last second and kill you... Like a tentacle will grab onto your helicopter as you try to flee.. Please let me know.
If you choose to ignore it, the game will progress normally and you are allowed to leave. But I believe no one would deliberately choose it, they would want to kill Nemesis for good after spending hours escaping it.

Stop who? The whole city got nuked in the end. Are these sentences translated directly from Japaneese? Cause I feel there are better ways to say things in english.
