rapid reset*
I did this video so many times because of screw ups when talking and I forgot to mention it in the video on this one. Haha!
Edit: Thank you for reminding me, I don't really pay too much attention to the names of the skills, so I forget them and start asking, is this a rapid or not or something else, who knows? Anyway, thanks for the reminder!
I clicked on this video thinking what the heck is no stall flip reset.. turns out its just a rapid reset. Good tutorial tho.
Thank you! I forgot to mention the name of the flip reset in the video, due to many reasons, but glad to see you enjoyed the tutorial!
appreciate the breakdown, all my attempts usually end up with the ball flying away, but this def helped me understand the control aspect.
What's also important what you do instinctively but don't explain is that you tilt your nose slightly downward before the preflip so you set yourself up for a good catch that's easy to follow up into a shot
Thank you for describing that, it is a very vital part of it that I didn't mention! The worst part is because it has become instinctive, I didn't even think about that at all. Hahaha!

Rest of the video was explained really well and helped me alot though. Thanks man
you forgot to mention you should be upright when doing the flip
Thank you, and that is generally true but changes depending on the balls position. I don't remember if I had any flip resets in this where that is not the case, but if the ball is close to you, you have to rotate past being upright so that you do not send the ball flying away, and if the ball is farther, then being upright works because you can cancel the flip staying upside down to hit the ball. I hope that last part makes sense. In other words, if the ball is close you have to be more sideways than upright but once the ball is farther away then yes, you are correct.
figured i'd drop a like and a sub, good advice, specially the last one. 👍💯
Awesome! The last one is really the only way to master it. If I give everyone the first three rules but they don't do the last one, it really doesn't do anything. Haha, I am glad you found it helpful!
Your dog's name is Bubba? That's awesome, feed bubba some shrimp
Yup, and he gets quite a lot of treats.
"I spent 90 days learning this and I'm still not 100%" - Well, guess I'll move on 🤣At least I can use this video to help me fall asleep, such a calming soft voice 😆
Don't turn learning it away just because I have only done this much in 90 days. I am not a quick learner in Rocket League with mechanics. I have to do the same thing probably 3 to 4 times more to get it down than many of my friends. There are some major benefits that came along with doing this beyond just this skill itself. I will be making a video that talks about what I gained beyond the skill itself when I get time after Christmas. Any difficult skill in this game will take time to learn!
Happy to see you enjoyed my "calming voice"! I am probably like that teacher in class who puts everyone to sleep if I talk for longer than 10 minutes about something. Hahaha! Happy to see you enjoyed it!
@@skytale720pnah, more like ASMR. nice vid
Really good tutorial btw
Happy to see you enjoyed it! I believe you can master this!
Great tutorial
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it!
Nice short video. I appreciate your advice without making it into a hypebeast tutorial.
Map code?
Haha, thought I had put it in the description. Thanks for the heads up!
