ในช่วงยุค 60 วงสุนทราภรณ์ที่ดังมากๆในยุคนั้น ได้มีนักร้องนักแสดงชาวอังกฤษชื่อ MR. Rick Hardy ซึ่งเป็นเพื่อนสนิทกับท่านเชอร์ Cliff Richard ได้มาเที่ยวเมืองไทย 3 สัปดาห์และได้เป็นเกียรติมาบันทึกแผ่นเสียง Single เพลงของสุนทราภรณ์ 2 เพลงโดยการใช้ทำ นองเดิมของครูเพลง พร พิรุณ มาใส่ภาษาอังกฤษคือ Our Last Kiss (ขอให้เหมือนเดิม) และ On The Beach (หาดผาแดง) หลังจากบันทึกเสร็จเพื่อรอการโปรโมท... แผ่นเสียง Single ชุดนี้หลังจากผลิตออกมาไม่มากนัก...แต่ MR. Rick Hardy ได้มีธุระด่วนขอกลับประเทศอังกฤษจึงไม่ได้รับการโปรโมท แต่มีการเผยแพร่ในวงแคบๆไม่ค่อยมีใครทราบ จนเมื่อประมาณ 10 กว่าปีที่แล้วผมได้รับการติดต่อจากคุณราเชนทร์ ชุมสาย ณ อยุธยา เพื่อนสนิทนักเรียนที่เรียนร.ร.ปทุมคงคา ด้วยกันและเป็น DJ อยู่ U&I Corporation ในเครือช่อง 3 ในขณะนั้นช่วยหาแผ่น Single MR. Rick Hardy ให้หน่อยเจ้าของผลงานตามหาอยู่อยากเก็บไว้ บังเอิญผมมีซ้ำ 2 แผ่นเลยมอบให้ MR. Rick Hardy ไป 1 แผ่นโดยผ่านมาทางพี่ฉ่าย" สมชาย ขำเลิศกุล " แห่งวงกัมปานี ซึ่งเป็นเพื่อนสนิทกับ MR. Ricky Hardy ด้วยและผมกับพี่ฉ่ายก็รู้จักกันอยู่แล้ว..เลยวนกันไปมาอยู่ตรงนี้รู้จักกันหมด หลังจากได้รับแผ่นเสียงแล้ว MR. Rick Hardy ฝากขอบคุณผมอย่างมากที่ตามผลงานคืนมาให้โดยผ่าน พี่ฉ่าย สมชาย ขำเลิศกุล มาและตัวพี่ฉ่าย ก็ตอบแทนน้ำใจผมโดยมอบแผ่นเสียง(ใหม่)ของวงกัมปานีพร้อมลายเซ็นครบทั้ง 3 ท่าน ช่วงที่ผมไปทำธุระที่ตึกแกรมมี่แต่ซีดีแผ่นที่ผลิตในไทยพี่ฉ่ายที่จะมอบให้ด้วย...ผมเลยบอกไม่ต้องพี่ฉ่าย...ผมมีแผ่นวงกัมปานี Made in Japan แล้ว..แกก็เลยเซ็นให้ด้วย..แกยังแซวกลับ..กูยังไม่มีแผ่น Japan ของตัวกูเองเลยว่ะ..5555555 จนปลายปี 2006 ผมได้รับข่าวร้าย MR. Rick Hardy เสียชีวิตแล้วโดยถูกฆาตกรรม เมื่อช่วงคืนวันอาทิตย์10 ธ.ค. 2006 อายุได้ 73 ปี ปัจจุบันแผ่น Single นี้กลับเป็นที่ต้องการของคนรักแผ่นเสียงที่สะสมและชอบเพลงของสุนทราภรณ์ from Line Group
