To be fair - this video shows how sought after and well-known loot was in the early days. I don't remember a single item from last 2-3 expansions (maybe few legendary weapons and some stupid trinkets) - I don't even care to do so, because I know I will replace everything in few months :(

Back then guilds raided on good faith and people were a lot more trusting than they are now. Ninja looting obviously wasn't unheard of but for a lot of raids it was just normal to leave it on group loot or FFA.
This basically cements the idea to never trust a rogue around anything but Master Loot lol

If you have raid loot set to Free For All, you deserve whatever you get. I don't trust guilds that run FFA because that tells me that one of the officers has talked to the GM and other officers that if something like say a mount drops they're taking it.

The looters are not the problem the problem is the raid leader is not smart enough to change the loot settings.
Playing HC taught me there's way more people than I thought who only want to make other people miserable

and then there are the clever gold thieves that send you a script in whisper and tell you to macro it and click the macro near a mail box. what happens is that you mail all your gold to them. Its genius, but very scummy. that's some next level gaming, when you bring programming into it.
lmao. but surely you can kinda figure out whats going on by reading the script or macro commands, since theyre quite simple and easy to understand for the most part? or are there some macro scipts, that are more complex and hard to understand as a noob? i probably only have surface level knowledge. the macros ive used always have been very simple. you dont need to be a programmer to understand. plus the scammer probably going to get banned pretty quickly and idk how he would deal with that issue.
Back in vanilla I was in the guild ventrillo and somebody accidentally moved me into the officer chat and they were talking about “loot council” for the first nefarian kill even though we were a dkp guild. Fast forward a few days later I took it upon myself to ninja loot everything from the first Nef kill. It was great, palms sweaty hands shaking and I walked away with my chest, mace and nef’s head for my Shaman hahahaha, week later I server transferred after they offered that paid service 😂

They didnt have server xfers till TBC, nice lie tho

Well after all this years already as adult i thinking bout those ninjalooters and daamn.What a sad life they living if this behavior give them real fun..Its prolly awefull stories how alcoholic parents hitting them or ppls in school and college bully them,they live lonely live without friends and so on. There is no way mental healthy person gonna have fun out of this situations.

@@VS666 There was a reason why it was called ninja looter, and that was because the whole raid team was able to loot the bosses, and that is why most of the video is only about OG vanilla TBC and Wrath
