- After weeks of chaos, we finally take a break! Join us for a two-night stay in a hotel where we treat ourselves to a delayed Christmas dinner and a much-needed bubble bath. We explore the charming village of Welton, take Willow on a scenic walk, and spend a lovely afternoon shopping in Beverley. My husband had his brain surgery on January 2nd, hopefully he is being discharged from hospital today (Sunday). It’s a very uncertain, scary time at the moment and it makes you realise that you have to grab every bit of life and happiness that you can. Hi Coral, we had snow this morning but it didnt last long, it turned to slippy slush then disappeared so all good. Oh I do love a pamper bath, its just a bit of luxury at the end of week where you can lay in bubbles and sup wine. Love it. Birthday was good although I ended up cleaning 🤭because Mike couldn't sit still and relax!! Hope you are ok, build a snowman for me 😂❤️❤️❤️

Hiya, she doesnt settle on her own in the back and tries to get to us in the front. She can get sick too if the journey is more than 30mins xxx
I always read online reviews before staying anywhere Cheryl. Out of curiosity I looked at the place you stayed and there were many disappointed people, so you’re not alone. Saying that, £50 a night for dinner, bed & breakfast is very very cheap, that would have made me suspicious.
Never mind you’ll not go there again xx
Hi Barbara, ah so the room was £50 per night, I added the brekki and dinner allowance on so in total it was £265 for 2 nights with meals. We've eaten there before and food was great so I think its a bit hit and miss. I would stay in the hotel again but would probably find somewhere else to eat xxx❤️xxx
