As a manga reader I'm delighted this got an adaptation and i hope people will see it for what it is and not get caught up to stuff like jujutsu kaisen that's also airing
There is barely any material for a 12 episode season. Maybe if they spent more time with the worldbuilding the author did after Ragna joined the Sun Cult but then right after there is a long sequence of battles. We are currently at chapter 77, and the Anime stops at chapter 54. I'd say a good spot to announce a second season would be at the 100th chapter or so.
I just hope to see the Ragna vs Kamui fight one day. I really liked the MMV that someone made for that fight, I hope it has a good soundtrack like that MMV, of course if they manage to animate it :b
