To all those people who wasn't born in this time! Believe me searching for these tunes was wicked!!! What have u now???
nada, zilch, niente, nothing............people today have nothing to hold onto, we or at least i have all this SOUL in my life to hold onto.
We were so lucky to be young .. and experience the summer of love raving our tits off! Fucking fabulous days ...
I never went looking for nothing, I was IN THE PLACE and part of the crowd that made stuff like this PLEASING! SECURITY! Another place, another time!
Couldn't said it better myself!!
Never forget hearing this at my first acid party at the rat 🐀 pack Roseberry Avenue in 88🙃
Freestyle Friday nights back in the 80’s. Timeless

The Good Old Days...🌻
I played this so much in the club I literally wore out a copy...still have it :-)
Word..banger....!!!!!... I have my 12" copy.....thanks for reminding me
It blows up the dancefloor
Love it till I die. One of the best bass songs ever. Moved to Dade County in 1986.
Hi Kathrine, do you still love that tune 9 years later ? if the answer is yes than try that one : Dynamix 2, just give the DJ a Break !!! Phantastic Miami Bass Tune!!!
305 Miami Bass town
Been listening to a lot from this era lately. I was a Blackburn raver! This is right up there for me.👍
If you listen closely it has freestyle elements. Some Miami bass & European synth sounds all fused together that made this masterpiece. One of a kind imo
Thank you so much…it was exactly what I was shooting for. One of my favorite producers of that era was Trevor Horn. I wanted take some of his euro vibe riffs and mix it with Miami bass to make it uniquely Miami. It was lighting in a jar. I had some very talented musicians involved with its creation. Very difficult to duplicate. I appreciate your comments. Thanks.
This has been my claimed favorite song since it came out so many years ago. It was released as a vinyl single in 1988 on a different label, ZYX Records- that was the original professional recording. I bought a copy of that 1988 recording on ZYX @ Murmur Record Shop in Orlando, FL (Mills Avenue?)but that copy was stolen after a party one night in high school =(
I think I first heard this at the skating rink on Goldenrod in 1987! The DJ in the dance room had an early/bootleg/promo copy.
This song is still ahead of it's time. The, eventually, married couple that recorded this classic first started recording this song in Miami. The song was, and has remained influential in the Miami Bass, New York, and South East Coast dance cultures. Big up to this must hear track!
Actually it was first release on my label, Pizazz Records which I then signed to Atlantic. Your version was licensed in Europe and rights purchased by New Order for European distribution. Glade you liked our track
@@TheAvygonzalez1 That's great to find out! I was misinformed and appreciate knowing what really happened. Thanks so much =)
@@TheAvygonzalez1 Thanks for your great contribution to dance music.A timeless gem bro.
Thanks to both your wife and yourself with the Creation of this AWESOME song. This is one of the TIMELESS dance songs from my late teenage years. IMHO if it were released today in 2022, I believe it would reignite the Dance Club scene and be sampled by a whole new Generation. It was ahead of it's time.
Well mate it absolutely smashed it over here in East London all pirate stations were banging it out and every DJ in clubs on the manor Echoes in Bow Twilight's in Bethnal Green and Shenolas in Stratford were all. Chuckin it down

One of my best friends worked in a hifi shop when this came out in 1988, his boss, a DJ kept all his tunes in the back of the shop and allowed him access to it all. He brought it me on an expensive high metal Maxell cassette, pulled up outside blasting it.....i was a moth to the light.....

@@randallflagg3464 the tune was released in uk in '89 on Champion but actually came out in on usa label Pizazz Records in '88, i don't know where you are in the world but by '89 in the uk, the term 'rave scene' was well used.
@@chrisscarbrough1197 ahead of it's time? listen to it.. it's electro, early 80's sounding with a european female voice also sounding like tracks released in the early 80's.

This sh!t is still banging in the 2016's. This song was way ahead of it's time and thanks Kimball Collins for carrying this track since Ahhz reunion
+michael mason With respect mate this track has many parts from Kraftwerk and Paul Hardcastles '19' from 1985.The US House scene was influenced and copied a lot of the European producers.Check it out .Peace.
Totally agree, I lived it and know who exactly who they are!
@@idonthavealoginname Sorry but this isnt "US house music."
@@idonthavealoginname electro, pure and simple. not ahead of it's time at all, but still a great tracks.

Another late 80's 90's DJ here.....I can still hear myself teasing the intro to a packed floor, pitch black, and see slamming the strobes on the kick. Lots of places to mix out of it
after all these years this song is still tight...

I was 13 and used to fkkk shit up on the Dance floor. Everybody was doing the Bell Biv Devoe and New jack swing dances. I was still popping and locking!! Serving fools DAILY! Miss these songs!!
OMFG!!!! First time I've heard this since the 80's! What a choon! Had it to this a few times ;)
CJ Barrymore's El Segundo, CA the 12-1am Hour club mix on point. Late 80's🔥🔥
HOW MANY PEOPLE STILL LIKE THIS JAM??
1 of my top 5 tracks of all time. I'll never forget hearing this on the radio for the first time as a young child in the 80's while playing with my legos & how it just totally blew my mind 😁I've came to realize this was my first ever taste of dark synth based music & fast forward to today I've been producing tunes myself heavily influenced by that amazing era I was a little too young to fully experience. It also cemented my love for 808s & choir pads at a very early age as well. Ever since I have constantly come back to it & will never stop. As diverse as my overall taste in music is, very few if any others have made quite an impact on me. To call it a masterpiece would be an understatement
Speakers to the ceiling,in a Warehouse with lots people.Time machine :)
This is an awesome track ! :-)
I’ve been looking for this for 3 decades

ONE OF A KIND. Why only 200k views? Should be 200mil. Jus'sayin'. Mad 808's kickin', serious synth stabs, bad ass boomin' bassline, that leading lead melody, those lyrics, that voice, excellent scratchin' on the bridge, security, security, security, security.
