This is heavy beyond heavy. That breakdown is DEPRAVED and I fucking love it.

I've been listening to extreme metal since I was a teen in 86/87. I've waded through all the different stages of death metal and it's varied subgeneres. This song is still one of the heaviest songs I've heard in a very long time.

these videos from the Nadir have been genius. It's like these little vignettes of possession and obsession, maybe not directly connected lyrically, but almost like the album is poisoning and turning folks to violence. yeaaa, a forbidden sound created of pure sinister feeling.

I've had this album on repeat for months any other music would get idk after day after day but somehow this album never gets old! Hands down the heaviest album ever made and pure brutal perfection

Sebastian Viuf well it’s called second death, so I’m guessing that the daughter died and in the intro the mother cast a hex or whatever and brought her back to life, but she was really just possessed by a demon. And she was not the same and she died again but after the demon possessed all of the others in the room, hence the ending where they all are spewing the blood like the original girl. Alex teyen the vocalist said this album lyrics had a lot to do with Christian death philosophy

I'm so glad they've been getting the recognition they deserve. I've been tuned in since Born Hanged/Falsifier era, and I've always seen people complaining that they're a little too "beat down" and that they couldn't get into them cus it was just "too heavy." Seeing all the love they're getting now makes me feel like a proud father. I've noticed a lot of bands lately have been progressing their sound in a new direction successfully, that wasn't always the case when I started listening to heavy music. What a marvelous time to be a metal head.
The more I listen, the more entrancing this shit is.
