We recently had the opportunity to drive the Tara Tiago EV, which is currently India's most affordable electric vehicle. Our primary goal for this video was to assess its real-world range while keeping the air conditioning running throughout the test. Despite the manufacturer's ARAI-certified range of 315 kilometers, our initial target was to achieve a minimum of 215 kilometers on a single charge. Did the vehicle meet our expectations? Regen Level: mostly 0 and sometime 1

After 2 years it will decrease to 150km, after 3 years 120km

I have driven my tiago 12000kms in 9 months driving in hilly mountainous region only. I get on average 220-250 kms without Ac, coz don't need it in hills, where the weather is temperate. The regen in the tiago is Fantastic, no need to use the brake at all , only in emergency , braking is applied , even in steep decent, no need for brakes, the regen does it all. Traveling from Shillong [ 5500 feet approx above sea level] to Guwahati [ 185 feet above sea level] my tiago consumes 15% battery @ 6.2 kms per 1 percent battery consumption and 55% from Guwahati-shillong @ 1.69kms per 1 % battery consumption. Total distance 93 kms x 2 = 186 kms
I am happy with the car so far .
Cons: Tata need to open a separate service centre for EV'S, jostling with petrol /diesel cars in the service center is problematic.

I am driving Tiago Ev daily and I am getting range which is below mentioned:-
In city with AC 198-200kM and without AC 230-235( Regen at level 3)
On Highway with AC 220-225kM and without AC 250-260kM(Regen at level 3 and Max speed up to 62-63kM/Hour)

When is punch ev to be launched
I think there should be an option of carrying extra battery with EV cars in the boot space so that it can give you some extra distance like 20-30 km.

In sab cheezo se koi fark nai padta. In fact AC on/off par hardly 5-10 % hi fark padta hai

I have to travel daily approx 250 kms. Which Ev should i buy, there is no charging facility on highways in our area

Agar aapke highway par charging infrastructure abhi nai hai to EV mat lo. because Tiago Range 200-225 agar aap 60kmph ki speed se chalate ho
Nexon EV Max will give you max 300 ki range aur wo aapko padegi 20 lacs ke aas paas.
MG ZS will give you a range of 325-350 km but uska price bohot jyada hai , wo aapko 30lacs ke paas padegi.
i would suggest ki aap CNG ka option dekh sakte ho either in Maruti or Hyundai. waise Tata Tiago CNG ya fir Altroz CNG bhi achha option hai.

Dear my battery started draining very fast below 20% and drained to 0% after 2nd service,.Now new battery replacement done let's see how it behave after 5charges it is under testing.🙏
Generally battery drained very slow when come under 10%, this is what i observed in different Ev's

I purchased Tiago EV last week. Bad decision. It had to be towed today because it refused to start. Very bad experience. The technician that came wasn't able to figure what had happened.

If you still not made the payment, back off. The service is pathetic. I got a call at 11 pm asking why I cancelled the towing service! Imagine the state of coordination Tata Motors has. Very poor. No alternative arrangements offered for me to go home. Left to fend for myself.

TATA Tiago Ev is a good car for
Four Peoples… But I got Comet For Foll Reason :
1 I need a compact car.. Tiago is also compact but comet is more
2. Real World Range is quite similar of comet with Tiago MR Variant
3. Comet feel’s premium
Tiago feels outdated but its good not bad
4. I need car for 2-3 people
5. In Comet After Seating
Four people can seat very comfortably But the Problem is 2 doors But After Having 2 doors In and out is decent

Who drive @60 on highway....? If you are the one who drive your fuel car @60 then go for it otherwise buy it for city only drive
Parveen, even we know it is sometimes hard to drive at 60 on highway, but the kind of highway we were at was conjusted at full of traffic, and also we had to get max range out of it that is why but in the worst caseyou will get anytime range of around 180-200 kms

end tak dekho pata chakega kitni range nikli, ev vehicles calibrate the range once you drive it for 10-15km, and it shows the range as per your previous driving . it calculates accordingly. do watch it till end we got around 230-235 km of range
@@MotorByte I've seen the full video.. I'm just stating that the initial range shown with 100% isn't confidence inspiring.. however the actual range you have achieved is quite good... Also if possible please upload a video of the tigor ev range test.

Buying an EV means paying for daily tension of charging the EV at night, constantly worrying about remaining range, worrying about where to charge on a highway, paying 5 lakhs more than same model petrol car...you can literally instead fill 5 lakhs worth of petrol....and then after all this, there is no resale value as replacing the battery pack costs a big bomb! Avoid EVs...they are impractical and a temporary fad. Beter buy a petrol car...or wait for the Japanese to come up with hydrogen cars.
