UNGLAUBLICH.

It's like being there to watch the creation of the universe - stunned amazement combined with overiding admiration of something beautiful and accurate brought to life before your own eyes, while simultaneously overjoyed at being given the gift of knowledge and learning, from the supreme being of modeling himself.

Again, having watched you do it, I'm still not entirely sure how you did it. Amazing work.

Beautiful. As always, nothing says "real rust" like actual real rust.
    Every effect is absolutely convincing.
By the way- this in the USA would be what we call a "barn find", an old vehicle that had a problem someone couldn't fix so they parked it in a barn and basically forgot about it. Twenty, thirty, fifty years later a visitor buys it for a few hundred dollars and refurbishes it into a classic.

Sadly though, this is isn't always the case. I've seen many decent cars rot from to the frame because they where left out in a bad spot, and on one farm alone, their was a 65' Ford Galaxie, two 55 Renault Daulphines, a couple of Ford LTDs (1973 + 1975) and countless trucks and farm equipment. The chance of a vehicle being saved all depends on the owners willingness to take care of the vehicle or the willingness to sell it, but also the buyers drive to restore the car.

    Great job!
I also like building more used vehicles.
You might not know that Chevrolet Cameo outer fenders are fiberglass on a steel bed box.
I did gain knowledge from your wonderful video.
Your flat tires are really impressive.

One of my truck kits I carefully took out the wood in the bed and left the metal beams it made it easier to really make the beams look authentic metal and once the wood was aged and stained it looked pretty solid and don't use popsicle sticks go to hobby lobby and get a sheet of craft wood it's worth it in the long run. Love your build by the way.

This made me think of all of the old trucks I have seen sitting in barns over the years. Where I live it used to be a common site until family farms got bought out. I swear there are probably old farmers driving a rust bucket like that around their family farm or on a back road. You nailed the look perfectly.

I want to do a scrap yard diorama or an old farmhouse with derelict tractors and vehicles. These videos are amazing for inspiration and techniques, however it may take a bit of practice to get to this level of realistic detail as you can over chip and weather. The dioramas this person creates is what inspires people to take up these hobbies, brilliant. Keep up the great work.

Amazing work, as usual. My only minor criticism: After years out in the sun, the bright red tail lights would’ve faded a lot to, the clear plastic would’ve become dull and opaque.

    Hello,
I found the best way to make a flat tire is to make a small slice the tire and wedge something in there. This will spread the tire out and looks convincing enough to be a flat. Also note it really only works on hollow cast vinyl tires that come factory with most kits.

For all concerned. Whenever you see the term Cameo attached to a pickup truck. It was a special edition truck sold with a fiberglass bed with a unique shape. It was intended to go after the youth market especially the surfers they were sold with only 8' (2.44m)beds. Hence no rust can be apparent. Just paint issues and if fiberglass exposed then debonding of fibers. Cheers. You still get a thumbs up from me. Best regards John.
