Somethings is so visually appealing about seeing an old rusty truck like that. You did an excellent job
Thank you Martin
UNGLAUBLICH.
It's like being there to watch the creation of the universe - stunned amazement combined with overiding admiration of something beautiful and accurate brought to life before your own eyes, while simultaneously overjoyed at being given the gift of knowledge and learning, from the supreme being of modeling himself.
Thank you 😀
Again, having watched you do it, I'm still not entirely sure how you did it. Amazing work.
Thank you
Beautiful. As always, nothing says "real rust" like actual real rust.
Every effect is absolutely convincing.
By the way- this in the USA would be what we call a "barn find", an old vehicle that had a problem someone couldn't fix so they parked it in a barn and basically forgot about it. Twenty, thirty, fifty years later a visitor buys it for a few hundred dollars and refurbishes it into a classic.
Thank you for your praise and the information
Sadly though, this is isn't always the case. I've seen many decent cars rot from to the frame because they where left out in a bad spot, and on one farm alone, their was a 65' Ford Galaxie, two 55 Renault Daulphines, a couple of Ford LTDs (1973 + 1975) and countless trucks and farm equipment. The chance of a vehicle being saved all depends on the owners willingness to take care of the vehicle or the willingness to sell it, but also the buyers drive to restore the car.
I've watched this video 3 times already and I'm still blown away. Magic... pure magic.
I love this stuff! Some people would look at this oddly but it is every bit art in every way. This is like a 3-D painting, total creativity and incredible thought and detail.
I'm truly blown way, how you can turn a simple model into a master peace
Thank you John
Looks like its been standing around in a barn for years just rotting away. Fantastic build and finish. Top stuff.
Thank you 😀
No matter the scale in which you choose to work, you ALWAYS achieve you special magic! Danke.
Thank you 😀
Great job!
I also like building more used vehicles.
You might not know that Chevrolet Cameo outer fenders are fiberglass on a steel bed box.
I did gain knowledge from your wonderful video.
Your flat tires are really impressive.
Thank you Carson
Well, that's that build ruined! 😂
One of my truck kits I carefully took out the wood in the bed and left the metal beams it made it easier to really make the beams look authentic metal and once the wood was aged and stained it looked pretty solid and don't use popsicle sticks go to hobby lobby and get a sheet of craft wood it's worth it in the long run. Love your build by the way.
Beautiful build. Love the details, the rust, the grind... such a good model ! Love it ! Can't wait for the diorama.
Thank you Emil😀
Your eye for color and detail is amazing!
Thank you Rob
This made me think of all of the old trucks I have seen sitting in barns over the years. Where I live it used to be a common site until family farms got bought out. I swear there are probably old farmers driving a rust bucket like that around their family farm or on a back road. You nailed the look perfectly.
Thank you 😀
This guys is awesome. The guys that are applying fake patina to their vehicles nowadays need to watch this video. I see so many that look more like a spotted cow than a natural patina.
Thank you 😀
I want to do a scrap yard diorama or an old farmhouse with derelict tractors and vehicles. These videos are amazing for inspiration and techniques, however it may take a bit of practice to get to this level of realistic detail as you can over chip and weather. The dioramas this person creates is what inspires people to take up these hobbies, brilliant. Keep up the great work.
Thank you Chris 🙏😀
This is perfection! I grew up around the corner from an auto wrecking yard that was full of cars from the 30s-50s. Its a shame to see them like this, but They Make It Like That!!
Thank you
I'm having to keep a list of ideas to try. your method for body rust/faded paint is incredible.
Thank you 😀
Because of you i make diorama's by myself. I like the ww2 dioramas the most.
Thank you for watching
@@lasercreation-world1981 sure i am watching, this is for me the best modelwork channel on youtube.
Best weathering video I've seem so far. Very realistic. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Tony
The only thing I can add to this master build is to use your Dremmel and grind away the backside of the grille to make it see-through. Beautiful work. Thanks for showing it.
Thank you
I love 1/24 scale, or 1/25 , my whole collection of cars and trucks is in this scale. I'd love one day to have the time and patience and skill to take them to your level. Excellent work.
Thank you 😀
I've tried many different ways to rust model kits, (mostly with the salt rusting technique) but this looks better then anything I've done, it looks amazing! Truly a masterpiece, just like all your other builds!
Amazing work, as usual. My only minor criticism: After years out in the sun, the bright red tail lights would’ve faded a lot to, the clear plastic would’ve become dull and opaque.
I think the headlight and taillight lenses would have still been glass in 1955.
I also take note on that minor detail, but maybe this is a "barn find car diorama", look the corrosion in the truck, its superficial, no holes
Felipe Lara A “barn find” would be covered in pigeon poop :)
I agree it is amazing work, but the bedsides on a Cameo were fiberglass and would not succumb to rust
George Main yup.
i keep trying my hardest but you keep raising the bar with these builds. I'm not going to stop though. your channel motivates me. Don't ever stop.
Thank you 😀👍
Love the look of this. If there is a criticism it's that the bed sides and tailgates of the Cameos we're fiberglass and didn't rust. Much like Corvettes. The work is outstanding though.
Wow I can almost smell the rust and oil! nice job
Thank you 👍😀
Absolutely fantastic creation - the blending of the effects into subtle shading etc is beyond description - thank you for posting
Excellent model, my dad used to have one, and with your vídeo i almost smell their cigar again...thanks.
Thank you Miguel😀
Very nicely done. I usually. only watch armor videos. Watching how you weather kits is inspirational
Thank you
Man I wish I had half your talent....superb work as ever....
Thank you 😀👍
@@lasercreation-world1981 gern geschehen mein freund kein problem....
Danke Erwin, coole Idee 🥂
You really detailed the crap out of that Chevy. I'm so proud of you. You did a good job.
You tantalise with a small part of the diorama and have us wondering what it will be....great job and so realistic.....let's see what the story tells! Amazing creation to reveal what's in the creator's mind.
Thank you
This is one awesome video I really can't believe 51 people put a thumbs down for what, haters. To get a scale to look like that took a lot of skill and effort
Vielen Dank Martin
I hit the like button before I watched the video. I knew I'd love it and I was not disappointed. Another outstanding build.
Thank you Andy
I wish I had a half of your talent, excellent work. You outdid yourself again.
Thank you 😀
amazing well done
Thank you 😀
Exactly the video I needed to see. I'm doing something similar to an old 1/25 55 Ford pickup I built years ago.
Thank you :)
Excellent job, the foliage gave just the right touch it looks like years of pine needles have fallen into the cracks. The fabric really looks great and the draping effect really adds another dimension to the piece. The perfect combination of mediums and a perfect balance, I would love to see the whole diorama when it’s completed I bet it will be breathtaking.
Thank you 👍
great job .only flaw is the beds are fiberglass on the cameo so no rust
Mine can rust😁
You add a lot of details but man your paintwork really brings everything alive. I’ve learned much from you in way of paint weathering.
Thank you 👍
Awesome detailing and weathering. The only thing I would have added would be brackets for the generator, the way kits have them floating on the belt is something all models have.
You're a genius I've never seen this way to make rust
Thank you 😀
I really love how you don't just build the models you put your own creative spin on them make them unique you're very talented and inspired me to get back into making models again I hadn't made a model since I was a little girl with my dad building rally cars keep up the great work look forward to every model you make
Thank you 🙏😀
@@lasercreation-world1981 love you laser creation world keep making the best models on RUclips
You are an absolute MASTER. This is superb work!
Nice work - you really pay attention to detail - 26 mins went flying by - I was truly mesmerized 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you
Now, that is just superb! Really looking forward to the 'before' part of this - assuming there is one! Great work, as always! 😃
Thank you 😀
That was a very impressive build. 10/10.
Thank you 👍
It looks so easy, it probably is. But not everyone succeeds in such a grand masterpiece.
Thank you
the realistic detail and the rust are very good
Thank you 😀
Just wonderful, and the layers and textures are bloody brilliant, not too mention your artistic flare tops it off. I loved it.
Thank you very much 🤗😀
Hello,
I found the best way to make a flat tire is to make a small slice the tire and wedge something in there. This will spread the tire out and looks convincing enough to be a flat. Also note it really only works on hollow cast vinyl tires that come factory with most kits.
Amazing work 👌 cheers
Thank you Tomy
How is it so realistic?!?! Dude, you’re f@#king awesome!!!
Thank you
Work of art. Your command of colors are remarkable.
Thank you
Gute Idee mit dem Taschentuch. Der Rest ist wirklich super
Danke Gerhard
Amazing work! I know this vid is older but still amazing to watch your techniques.
Wow. I like watching this way better then a movie. Its so good if you would take a picture people wil think it's a real car on the yard.
Amazing!! Greetings,, Kitty.
Thank you Kitty😀
Das issen Amerikaner... Der muss ungenau sein 😂😂😂😂
Sieht Klasse aus 👍🤘💪
😂🤣
Ich bin echt begeistert von dem Wagen! Respekt

Thank you 👍
Very niceee!! Details on this car are so realistic (y) really goood
Thank you David
Brings to mind the CW McCall song "Classified ad"! Many great technique that I can use when I build the Sanford an son truck!
Thank you 👍
Love it. Wish you had maybe had a smashed window or a bumper hanging off as I feel that would have looked even more realistic.
Thank you 😀
I have watched several of your videos. Your work is exceptional and without equal. The models I have seen you make and paint are truly lifelike. Excellent work !!
Thank you 😀
Brilliant! Absolutely gorgeous. Something for me to aspire to.
Excellent work shows what you have to do to get to this standard, well done.
Thank you John
Reminded me of "Mater" in cars... lovely done... nice mate
Thank you
Super gemacht.
Danke Karsten

as always, stunning detail work.
Thank you
I would love owning that truck, amazing detail work! 😊👍🏻
Thank you 👍
Eine Augenweide... perfekt dargestellt
Danke Jürgen
I would like to see a 60s Ford F100 farm truck. love the work.
Fantastic! I really must collect the rust from my old water can.
Thank you
Absolutely stunning as usual. I hope there is a diorama coming up soon for the last 2 vehicles. Best modelling channel ever!
Thank you 👍
Cameo is Just getting some makeup done 🤣
BTW loved it
Thank you 👍
Amazing, astoundingly realistic, I wish I could be this good,
Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
You are real artist!!! Looks amazing as always
Thank you 😀
For all concerned. Whenever you see the term Cameo attached to a pickup truck. It was a special edition truck sold with a fiberglass bed with a unique shape. It was intended to go after the youth market especially the surfers they were sold with only 8' (2.44m)beds. Hence no rust can be apparent. Just paint issues and if fiberglass exposed then debonding of fibers. Cheers. You still get a thumbs up from me. Best regards John.
Ah okay, thanks for the info
That looks fantastic, there is nothing I don't like about it.
There is one thing though, you are annoyingly good haha.
I'm carefull mixing paints drop by drop but you just seem to throw them together with no precision or measuring but your colour still turns out perfect and mine sucks.
You should be very proud of your work.
Keep it up please we love the video's.!!
Thank you 👍
This is some of the best work I've see so far, you should be very proud of this, I'm doing a mad max style mustang and this has given me the inspiration I need to have a go, thank you
Thank you 🙏👍😀
Thank you 👍😀
Magnifique ! Quel travail, aussi.
Bravo !!!
Thank you
Excellent and some great tips. Only thing I'd change is the windows... maybe break the front or side one?
Wow that is amazing!! It would’ve been cool if the logos were still there and weathering away. Also that Coca-Cola machine in the bed of the truck rusted. But still without all that it is just Mind blowing I love your work it’s amazing keep it up 👍🏼
