I guess just like a new Firestick 4K Max we just can’t get rid of the main Home Screen… So don’t bother with ADB app as it won’t work. Sure you can get a secondary screen but never can avoid or use the original remote home button… Discussing from AMZ!
Problem like EVERY other custom launcher Amazon blocks and disables these as soon as they can. I have given up on the launcher method and instead use the Button mapper app with a custom launcher so for ME in my case a LONG-PRESS of the Hamburger button on my remote brings up my launcher which works well for me once rebooted and don't have to worry about Amazon disabling the "custom" boot launcher which they WILL and always have! It's NOT worth it to me to go through this rig-a-ma-moe and enter all this code to simply have it blocked/disabled in a few weeks! Hell, since this video is ALREADY one month old Amazon may have already blocked this option!

Yeah, the icon of the "launch manager" on this video is white, the one he told us to install is orange and it also gives me the same errors: Watchdog permissions: Not granted and Watchdog service: Stopped and yes ADB commands correctly executed from my nvidia shield tv pro (2019). Did you manage to work it out? However, the wolf app does start after a reboot. Then whenever I press the home button, it goes back to the original home screen. I don't like it...
I don’t have the MY FIRE TV tile in settings. What do I need to do to get it? I’ve asked numerous times on other fire tv videos but no one will answer me!
@@ryuhayabusa6776 this is a new tv. I just got it. I actually found out on my own on how to get to the area I needed to be to change things. It’s under devices and settings.
I'm guessing that when Amazon puts out their next FireStick update, all this effort will be smoked out and you will be back to square one again. This is why I got rid of my FireStick gadgets. I didn't have to enter lines of code and jump through hoops just to get Wolf Launcher setup on my NVIDIA Shield Pro. It's been running rock solid ever since for the past 2 years. Not a problem.
I ditched the firestick as well for the onn stick w Google tv Im happy to finally get Amazons greedy ass out of my house and the onn stick w Google tv blows the firestick out of the water.
@@jhall_edc The ONN device will NOT in ANY way blow the FireCube 3rd Gen out of the water. The Firecube offers complete device control that ONN or even the Firesticks cannot not provide. I also do not need to press any buttons to have the FireCube work with voice commands.
Well first off you have to write different code for different launchers…you might want to mention that

You can also use an android emulator from your computer such as bluestacks.

Maybe you need to reset your device to the factory defaults.

Tech doctor had LMmini launcher manager using remote abd shell but it stopped working after a week or so. Does this work better
