I didn't really know how acting was, but now I know it's really awkward behind the camera.
I think they 'acted' too much that I don't feel 'natural', like, I feel that they try very hard.
Chayanis Lee isn't "trying very hard" a good thing?
Janelie Estanislao trying hard is good, but in a film, acting should be 'natural', like they truly are the character.

TheTurpinator i think Cara did very good, but the others were just meh ... :/ except Nat (but he still looked awkward with another actors (who weren't Cara). And the worst thing is most part of the movie is their adventure.

They cut the SeaWorld scenes because none of the producers or even John Green wanted to give SeaWorld any promotion after Blackfish and the backlash SeaWorld has gotten.

I pointed out so many things that were wrong in this. They didn't wrap the car in plastic, they put a fish in the back seat! The spray paint that said something about paper towns was sposed to be orange and covered up with white paint. (sorry for my spelling)

Well this was her debut & his role was FOCUSED on her so it's understandable why they put a lot of focus on her & her character.

I know. But in an interview John said that he thought her going with them was a great a idea. And he wished he'd wrote it. So hopefully it won't be that bad. I guess we just need to remember this is an ADAPTATION and not an exact copy of the book onto a film.
Also whilst watching this I've been pleasantly surprised at how many scenes there are that were in the book. Maybe you should try and think about the ways the film is similar to the book and not the ways it has strayed from it.

I've been behind the scenes of a film and yeah guys it's pretty awkward most of us are holding our laughs because the actors honestly look really stupid but after the movie comes out we're like "DAMMMMNNNN when was this shot?" But yeah hats off to the directors, they have whole thing planned out and sometimes film making can be really frustrating also directors and the whole crew deserve much more credit
