Yep, the second shop always has reasonable prices. They don't price gouge and they have been in business a long time, so they know the true value of this stuff and price it accordingly
Great prices on some of those bottles. Never seen an amber Raleigh's bottle before. Have to find one of those. The stoneware ink had a great color on it too. Lots of great glass and fun to see. Thanks for sharing Kevin ! Cheers and hope the whiskey goes down smooth my friend !
Lots of meat left on the bone for a potential flip and or some great stuff for the personal collection. These are the places I like. That's the sort of place that might take boxes of some of the stuff you keep but don't really care about...then to the liquor store for that iridescent skull bot 🏴☠️🍻⚡️🍀😎
Yeah, some very sensible prices. I understand why some of those guys don't want me posting this stuff... it makes their own prices look ridiculously high lol
Great shop tours and always nice to drool over some beautiful pieces! The Rowat was a great deal and even had stuff in it! Have only ever found a broken one so far. Interesting that there’s two amethyst Australian AGEE insulators in there. I did see an empty Crystal Head bottle in a flea market recently and wasn’t too bad a price.
Just checking in, Kevin..hope you're doing well. That second store had a great bunch of bottles and other items at good prices. Also, you can never go wrong with a good bourbon! I can recommend Elijah Craig.
Awesome video Kevin. Some prices are fair at that antique shop and some are way to high. That Atwoods Bitter's bottle from Georgetown mass is worth about 5 to 7 dollars here in the U.S. (Never 25 dollars,LOL!) That looked machine made and the tooled ones are the better ones to have. Hope you are doing well and we are doing good. Take care and happy hunting to you.---Jeffrey Hull jr. (Jeff & son Lew)
prices are a bit crazy at the first place, but 40% off then marked up so it looks like your getting a deal lol Love looking at all this stuff as well, thanks for the antique tour Kevin :)
@@jsteelsadventureandvariety yeah, the first one was high end. Great color to the glass though. That's the problem with some of these sellers though (same as online)... they want interested buyers to believe the price tag is the true value. Folks need to shop around and digging sure helps a fella to see what's common and what isn't
Green bell only a 15.00 bottle at best. Better to collect the George Washington ones, with cruder tops. Or the Booze house ones. No the oval one you said was 60’s 70’s probably.
Seems like there was no rhyme or reason to the pricing in some cases, especially the 1st. store. Some of your local bottles had great pricing. Is it because they are common to your area? Here on PEI, local bottles go for big $$$. Only certain ones don't sell, because the market is flooded.
Nice buy on The Humphrey and Pickle!!!!!💥💥💥❤️
I agree ! Bang Bang... as Harry Humstone would say lol
Thanks for the shopping trip 👍👍
Thanks for coming along
Love shopping with You😊💥✌️🌞❄️🙋♀️
Thanks for coming along !!
Fun video! Love seeing your shops
Interesting ~ Lots to choose from.
For sure... good shops
This was excellent man. Super good
Yeah, some decent stuff in those places
Good stuff!😮
Glad you enjoyed
Woop❤
Hey hey
2nd shop had some really good prices
Yeah, normal prices for a change lol... most places are gougers
Nice! Thanks!
Anytime !
The second store had some good prices, Kevin. That Lydia Pinkhams for $8 is a good buy. I do love that iridescent skull!!!❤
Yep, the 2nd shop always has great buys and has been in business for a long time. If you collect it, they sell it.
Two great shops. The last one seemed to have better prices. The skull is awesome but yes what a hefty price tag 🤑😊

Lol, I've seen those Bulleit bottles around here, and they are definitely a cool looking bottle 😎👊.....
Awesome stuff in the shops !!!👍🍀⛏⛏Later Jim 🤣👍
Bullet bottle ?
@@Travelling..Bottle..Digger
The bourbon in the liquor store all embossed 👍⛏⛏
@@historylooker7 oh lol... I forgot that clip was in there haha

I like the amber Rawleigh's too. I bought one at a shop a couple of years ago, but have only dug shards

The crystal heads are nice. There's a black one too that I'd like to get

Yeah, the second shop is extremely well priced... their prices are dead on
Hmmm... I'll have to have a look and see if that's available here
I think the case gins are my favorite bottle. Never seen one in person!
They are definitely nice, but are quite common in this area (and other areas). The oldtime diggers used to leave them behind unless they were embossed

I can't remember if it was mm or blown, but it was one of the later ones, hence the "formerly known as" on the bottle
First :)
Thanks, buddy

They had nice colored insulators the pickle jar was nice the Liberty bell was nice and I would have took that case Jin for $5!
Next video, I'll show what I bought. I didn't get the bell, but I wish I had of... it was very reasonably priced
1972 era Green Mattuesse Wine
Was that the green bell ?

No the oval one you said was 60’s 70’s probably.
Yeah, there's some interesting vintage bottles for sure
Some clean looking stuff but the prices are way over their actual value.
Yeah, I get raising the price to make a profit, but some places take it too far. I did quite well with my purchases though

Pricing depends on which store you go into. Some folks believe things sell better with a higher price tag on them
