French did it before WW2. The Germans simply went around the fortifications. They still were in France.

@@krzysztoferwin32 No. I'm saying to rely on any form defensive structures doesn't guarantee your protection. Just like France did with the Marginal Iine. Germany just went around it . They still invaded France and won. General Patton said there isn't any man-made structures that can't be over come.
