I’ve been into music for awhile now but barely started to make my own in a daw but it’s hard making a beat from scratch. Sampling still takes skill but it’s way easier so I haven’t done it. I have a few songs in mind already but I’d rather learn the fundamentals. I don’t know anything about who produces her music or if she does but you can still clearly hear the sample especially on the last one. Like young gravy’s songs are the exact same situation but I personally wouldn’t play his songs because it’s not what I like. This isn’t news to be honest. This will keep happening lol

What is people'sproblem with "sample snitching" I personally find it very interesting to find out about what samples were used. It doesn't ruin the music or anything or make it less popular
it can get a bit messy if the creators of the sample decide to threaten a lawsuit. I think if the sample is used in a transformative way, then they shouldn't really have a problem with it
If anything i think you have an inherent right if you have dignity as an artist that if you use someone else’s song as a sample for yours you should credit the original song/artist.

That's the whole point of sampling, to reuse a beat or portion of a song and yk sing over it with your own lyrics.
