The Bangles - Eternal Flame (1988). Ashtyn&Jon REACTION

  • The purpose of me requesting they react to songs like these is just to expose them to music they may or may not have heard before, to expand their horizons and to sate my curiosity over whether they will like them or not.
I am responsible for the song choices, what I choose to request so if want to complain about that then that's fair game but if want to complain about Ashtyn or Jon's reaction just remember this is not their channel and by proxy it is very unlikely they will read your comments unless I personally pass the message on next time I speak to them...however I have zero interest in passing on any vindictive, rude or spiteful comments.
They do these for me and I just post many of them here in case other people might also be curious about what they think of these songs too after they send me the videos and I have watched them myself. As mentioned this is not their channel, if you wish to visit their channel it can be found listed below.

The main girl of this song is Susanna Hoffs. This band's arguably most famous song is "Walk Like An Egyptian". There's also "Manic Monday" and "Hazy Shade of Winter". The other girls are featured more in these songs other than just backup vocals.

That's why you need to go deep into their discography. They a lot of good songs such as "Be With You", "Let It Go", "Following", "Angel's Don't Fal In Love", "Stealing Rosemary", "Not Like You", "Complicated Girl", "Watching The Sky" and many many more! In fact the other girls are the lead singers in those songs and they do it quite well. Michael Steel is my favorite Bangle btw!

It's hard to believe that you are enthusiastic about the music when you're yawning all through the "reaction." I understand life is busy for you, perhaps more so than for many others, but if you take this challenge on: Wake Up! so as to put the best possible face on it. This is just some friendly advice, since I like the song and the reviewers/reactors seem fine, but that was the first and main thing I noticed: the indolent approach. It's good to be relaxed, but not lethargic, Sincerely wishing you both all the best in each of your future endeavors!

Eternal flame is now an iconic Bangles ballad, the only iconic Bangles song Susanna hoffs co wrote, she and the other members did not write Egyptian, Manic monday was written by Prince, EF has been featured in many movies and tv shows including Ramona and Beezus and Bedtime Stories, the band broke up in 1989, but 10 years later, they would reunite to write songs including Get the Girl for Austin powers 2, the redhead Michael Steele, retired, go to Wikipedia for more info

The best part of the song is when the backup vocals started their harmony, without it, the song will not be that beautiful. And the perfect moments were when Micki, the most beautiful of them appeared. 😁😇 0:54, 1:56, 3:12, and 3:47. I have not seen a beautiful face like Michael Steele's! Her face is one in a million and naturally beautiful. Her face is a masterpiece of God! And She is the only one- red-haired Goddess of Beauty!

Walk like an Egyptian was a novelty song that the band hated with a passion...record company forced them to record it and even made the other ladies audition to sing on it...the drummer didn't sing or play on song , drums added by a drum machine....they had a lot of really good songs ....Walk like an Egyptian is not one of them
